I have gone to this location on mills civic for 4 years almost everyday. I get the same thing everyday but in the last year this location has gone down hill. There are several morning employees that are very rude when you try to order. There is a girl with a long blonde ponytail that answers and it’s like she hates her job makes you feel like you should just leave. More than half the time my drink is incorrect and I have paid a different price for my drink everyday even though I have never changed it. I can understand price increases but this has been a different price everyday. I’m just very upset that it’s not consistent here and that employees seem to hate their job making customers feel like they shouldn’t be there.

We visited this morning. The service was fast. The barista was friendly, polite, and courteous. The coffee was quality.

Love this location and people that work here. I come here multiple times a week for coffee and sometimes a sandwich/cinnamon roll. They make my drinks fantastic every single time, and are always very friendly and in a good mood even early in the morning when I stop there. I have to have oat milk in my coffee because I have an allergy to regular milk and they always get my drink right! Definitely one of the good locations

I’m leaving five stars for the wonderful staff at the Mills Civic Scooters location whom unfortunately have to put up with RUDE customers who have actually crossed lines in calling employees curse words. Equally unfortunate is an owner who not only tolerates that behavior from their customers but rewards them with books of coupons so they’ll continue coming back ($$$). God Bless the employees who are clearly more appreciated by their customers than the owner themselves. 👎🏻

For 7 months I've been going to this SCOOTERS. My last 12 orders the same, Today it was a $1 plus change more. This happens from time to time but only with the one guy guy employed here. Fine SCOOTERS can do without my business and those of my friends.

Usually they’re good but I’d recommend double checking your orders. They gave me an iced coffee with caramel instead of caramel latte. I was in hurry and haven’t noticed till later.

I'm a big fan of scooters coffee and the franchise, and I enjoy this location. But it receives two stars from me because after reserving their private room one morning another group of people appeared to be upset that we had got to it first and reserved it every Saturday morning indefinitely. While I love that Scooters has such a nice room to offer, I think it's a failure on the owner to allow an indefinite reservation that prevents others the opportunity to use it.
There should a length of time from which you can reserve out... I.E. one month or one week from that date.
I hope this is something they remedy in the future.

Had a iced blended matcha latte with oat milk and a splash of vanilla flavor. It was good but had a bit of after taste, maybe from the vanilla. Its hard to find matcha lattes in Des Moines. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
