My sister and I ordered their tenderloin expecting it to be the huge tenderloin they have been known for. My tenderloin was very small it fit on the bun, my sister's was still half the size they used to be; yet the price is still the same. Smh probably won't go back.

I liked my waitress, however they were busy and it took a long time to get water and a menu. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were tough and overcooked on the bottom. The gravy was not warm enough and too thick. I was disappointed in the sausage, which has been the star of any plate in the past.

The food is pretty good. I’m not sure it is worth the wait, especially with small children. We went for Sunday brunch with a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old. We waited nearly ONE HOUR for our food after ordering. There were even empty tables, so the restaurant wasn’t full. At one point while we were waiting, we saw one of the cooks standing out in the bar area talking with another customer. I’m surprised he had the time since they were so behind. By the time we got our food, the kids were tired of sitting and getting cranky. Our eating experience was rushed and not that enjoyable. There was also an error with my order, and my omelette had the wrong ingredients. The waitress did not come to check on us while we we eating, and I was hungry because of the long wait. I ended up eating it and picking out the onions. I explained it to her, but she didn’t do anything about it. The two gentlemen at the table next to us told us as they were leaving that they also waited over 45 minutes for their food. I’m not sure we will back. It is fun atmosphere for adults if you have the time. However, I do not think it is a family friendly restaurant.

The staff was very nice and the wait time was short. The main thing is the food. The tenderloin was over cooked. It was hard as a rock and dry as can be. Ketchup became a must for said item. I've heard so many great things and that was disappointing as can be. I may try again but I'm not sure my taste buds are willing to for awhile.

My family of four had a nice experience for lunch. Healthier options (grilled options) with handmade sauces and dressings - warning, their honey mustard dressing is a bit spicy hot. We had pretty good service. They had trouble keeping the tables bussed though. We enjoyed the pork sandwich, pesto chicken wrap, pork po boy, and BLT - all good.

Really this place is just okay. It has got some good dishes especially the biscuits and gravy (it's huge) but the menu is not very large or extensive, it's a little pricey for what you get and the service is incredibly slow. They should really think about hiring more people to keep up with the tables because every time I have gone there it's been slow and they aren't particularly friendly. It could defiantly be worse but I don't know why some people are so crazy about this place, it's just not a favorite of mine. It would improve if they had some new menu items.

Went in for breakfast on Saturday morning today, at 830. Coffee, all out offered me decafe. Seating, only using three tables offered outdoor only or to wait for 1 of the three tables. We waited sat down and the wife ordered their famous Bloody Mary and some breakfast along with my coffee that I didn’t get because they only had decafe. Skip ahead 40 minutes no bloody Mary’s. Went to the bar said sorry we didn’t get the order, that’s fine we canceled it and asked for the check. At this point it had only been water. Then Alas the bloody Mary’s were there on the bill and the food we hadn’t received yet either. We were told they could not take the blood Mary’s off the bill even though we never received them. And they would bring us our food in a box. After some arguing they then removed the bloody Mary’s we left and went to hyvee. And hyvee’s Bloody Mary’s were awesome! In addition to being amazing they only took 2 minutes! Save your self the hassle go somewhere else!

This was mine and my husband's first time there. It was amazing. I would recommend to everyone. I will say go on an empty stomach. The food is delicious. The staff is so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely be going back. The vibe is laid back and relaxed.

Prior to the Covid19 changes everything was good. Lately (breakfast) service is inconsistent.
Today we got one of two coffees, the second took 10 more minutes. Out of peanut butter and raspberry jam. Both of us received half of our "full" orders of toast and were charged for full orders. Toast was not toasted, more like warmed bread than toast. Got maybe 1/2 of my poached egg. One good note was the sausage today and the egg was hot. Our waitress appeared to pay for our (shorted) toast from her tips. (Thank you) There has been a lot of new staff except for Lori. I don't usually do reviews but today too much. Looking forward to things getting back to where they were 4-5 months ago.

Very disappointed, this was one of my favorite restaurants, haven’t been here for a while and tonight’s experience was dreadful. We were the only ones in the restaurant, daughter ordered chicken strips and they came out the size of their tenderloins. Wife’s biscuits were hard as bricks, and the sausage was extremely dry. My mother ordered chicken fried steak and was served with no gravy on top. Unfortunately I will most likely not return. This place has taken a huge step back. I used to be able to order anything on the menu and it was amazing. Sad.
