Bluebird Cafe

This place is amazing. Truly that diner feel brought into the current age. Food is fresh and also very tasteful. Clearly everything here is made from scratch with care
Only issue is if you don't carry something until night shift or dinner post it on your menu

Don't bother to order a Reuben sandwich. I love them and order them everywhere, but never here again. Such a disappointment. You almost can't find the corned beef. I even brought 1/2 home to look for it, but when opened up there were only a few little chunks here and there.

We felt welcome and that’s just not always the case when I show up to a very busy restaurant with my large service dog. They got us seated in a much shorter time than expected. The staff were friendly and obviously working hard to keep tables turning and the stress showed a bit. I only got one offer to refill my coffee and I don’t think anyone else at the table even got that. The omelets and chicken fried steak were out quickly and looked great. The portions were adequate, but not large. If you want large portions, the stack of 3 pancakes was massive although adding a side of two bacon strips was more than half again as much as the pancakes themselves and weren’t cooked or presented with the care a tiny $4 side item should receive to make it seem worth the cost. Overall, it was a good experience and I will go back again.

Great breakfast experience. They topped my coffee off so quickly that it never had a chance to get warm. I like that the most! They even offered me a to go coffee before I paid. What an amazing concept. The place was appropriately staffed for the crowd and extremely pleasant.
Booths are pretty snug but there are plenty of other seating options.

Inside is very clean, well decorated with a very nice outside seating area as well. Waitress was friendly. Nice menu with a wide variety to order from.

I had barbecue pulled pork that came with a small dish of cole slaw and French fries as a side dish. The pulled pork was a bit dry for me (barbecue sauce was very good), maybe because it was between lunch and dinner. Did not care for the dressing on cole slaw. Fries were excellent. My companion went with a breakfast order and was pleased with their selection.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Wonderful staff. Great food.

The wait staff was amazing! The place was packed with a small wait and they stayed positive the whole time. Our waitress went above and beyond to make my 2 year old feel special and at home. The food was delicious and maybe the largest cinnamon roll I have ever attempted to eat.

Very good! Shari was a really great waitress! Highly suggest the pancakes or waffles!

The staff and service are good but I found the omelet hot but bland. It takes a few minutes to remember why you don’t go often, but it comes to you. There isn’t a comfortable seat in the place. It seems to be by design to “turn over” customers. That makes for good profit but I won’t be a regular. Kinda sad that!

Great service and food Bluebird is a great local spot.
