Bluebird Cafe

Food was great we had a build your own omelet and coffee. Delicious. Their house coffee is a great take-home item. There is another Bluebird Cafe in Solon also.

Very good, excellent service, great menu and prices. Will look forward to coming back when we come to Iowa City, always looking for the “hole in the wall“ small cafes and grills, this one did not disappoint!

There is something magical about Bluebird Cafe; I always have amazing food, friendly servers and great conversations. I've magically had my meals paid for twice and I just love the cozy atmosphere when you can eat breakfast all day. The portion size is a great value. I would love to see some more gluten free options too. Thank you!

Love the Bluebird Cafe. The food is always good no matter what we order. My husband's eggs weren't hot & they made his entire order fresh. Very accommodating.

Great breakfast here! I had a Steak and Wake 3 egg omelette which consists of cubes of steak and asparagus under provolone cheese with a swizzle of really good (and hot) stone ground mustard. You also receive hash-brown potatoes and two slices of toast (wheat, white, rye or sourdough). I asked for, and received, some peanut butter to smear on my toast!

Have been here a few times. The coffee is great, but the eggs Benedict is lackluster on flavor and portion. Needs more ham and seasoning (both the eggs and hash browns).

Great food, great service! Breakfast hit the spot this morning and everytime I come here 😊 High recommend.

Even though they offer gluten free options, do be aware that it is cooked in the same grill as the other food. So it really isn't gluten free. I spoke with a server this evening who double checked with the cooks. :(

It's always a great dining experience at Bluebird Cafe. Best place for breakfast in North Liberty. Always try to eat there at least once when visiting the University of Iowa for games or social visits.
