One of the best restaurants in central iowa! Great service, great food, great ambience. Wish it was bigger so they could get more people in as the wait can get a little long if you don’t have a reservation

Both the food and service were excellent! The Lemon Sage Martini was so good! Parking was easy and very close. The atmosphere was perfect for date night. Thank you for making it special.

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was beautiful. They socially distanced each table so that we were probably 12 feet away from other guests. The waitress wore a mask and was very friendly. It felt very upscale and private. 10/10 would recommend.

Always fresh simple ingredients that give you amazing flavors.
This is their new Kentucky Hot-Brown Pizza.. and of course always get the bruschetta. Lite and fresh.

Simply put, this restaurant has the best pizza in Des Moines. We nearly always sit bar side which has open seating and happy hour specials. The only down side to bar seating is that one has to ask for a bread basket. This is not something to be missed either as they serve warm South Union Bakery bread.

The staff is always friendly and if ordering pizza will serve up the first slice. Drinks are well proportioned and there is a variety of specials available during happy hour to suit nearly any palate. Finally desserts are tasty but if there is a weakness for this restaurant I would say this is it. The cheesecake we have ordered has been frequently undercooked, but is also fantastic when properly cooked.

The pizza is the star of the show though. We have ordered other dishes, and while some of the specials are not to be missed, we always remember and come back for the pizza. If you enjoy New York style pizza you would be remiss not to try Centro's pizza.

The food is great and our waitress was very tentative. This was our second time eating hear. You can not go wrong with this place.

Very good food and reasonably priced... Good service but the room is large and noisy.

Sat appropriately and accordingly as a walk in. Server was great & friendly however not really attentive, with the tables being so small pre bussing was non existent. Making seating experience frustrating. Food we ordered: Roasted chicken & The Homemade Cavatelli. Chicken was overcooked, lacked flavor, sauce on the actual dish looked like it was 90% oil and 10% idk what bottom line is the dish did not come together. The cavatelli had a good base however the pasta was unevenly cooked and quite thick. The sauce itself tasted like garlic… and a hint of marinara. The great things about this is the environment, mashed potatoes, Expresso Martini. Over all for the price we paid this was not at all what we expected. We should be licking the plate but we did not even eat 1/4 of our plates. Will not be coming back nor suggest dining here unless you are looking to waste money on overpriced, unseasoned, fake Italian food.
