The service was great and great food. I highly recommend this place.

First time eating inside last night. Our waiter was very inventive and pleasant. I started off with cucumber mule and I absolutely loved it!! Then we got onion rings and requested sides of ranch. The homemade ranch the best ranch I have ever had. Rings dipped in ranch was fantastic!! We seen the pizza half off. So we got Italian sausage pepperoni. Pizza was good. Cant wait to come again to try other entrees!!

Visited Centro 5:30 Saturday for drinks and a snack . Sat in the bar. Drinks were ok. Mule served in grubby, abused copper mug. Mulberry gin drink overly sweet and boring. Ordered a small pizza with sausage, onion and red pepper. Pizza tasted stale like it had been prepped earlier. Toppings weren’t cooked. Pizza was dry and disappointing. Waiter was a dud. No cocktail napkins , wet table , discarded squeezed lime wedge left on table entire stay. We have had good meals and service here. Not this time.

I make it to Des Moines once or twice per year and Centro is ALWAYS on our dinner list. It is reliably excellent from entry to exit with service and food that we have found to be unparalleled in quality and reliability in Des Moines. We found service in many restaurants in Des Moines to be slow either between the kitchen unable to keep up or too few table staff - not so Centro. And the professionalism of that service is a notch above the others. I had one of the Chef's specials and each in our party of three had something different - all excellent. Their desserts are wonderful as well so save room. Of course we will be back.

Went here for our Anniversary. We got seated right away. Very friendly staff. We ordered onion rings for our appetizer. They were excellent and seasoned well. I had the chicken prosciutto. It was fantastic. My fiancee has the chicken francesse. She loved it. We also had the marshmallow sundae for dessert. It was amazing. We'd come back just for that!

I don’t think I’ve had a bad dish! My favorite is the grilled chicken with broccolini, the lemon white wine butter sauce is amazing that comes on it! Unfortunately I don’t have picture, I’ll make sure to get pictures next time!

Family lunch. Great waitress Janelle or Chanelle. Wonderful onion rings and my Kill Bill Tenderloin was delicious! Pleasant chat with the manager and he was very much involved with the staff. He even cleaned the table next to us and was patient with our questions. One of my favorite places to dine.

Food was just ok. Honestly nothing different from pick any of your chain restaurants. Our party of 3 ordered rib eye, salmon, and some pasta. The mussels were good but our entrees were just ok.
I had the flourless chocolate cake and that was bad so don’t get that.

Really nice people though.

Food was great although no separate gluten free menu items, and the server made suggestions on choices. Portions sizes are large even for lunch.

Excellent service! Amazing professionally cooked food! Definitely a great bargain and top level fine dining experience.
