Chicory Cafe Mishawaka

Food was good. Able to sit outside on a beautiful day.

I come here for trivia every other Thursday. It's a cool place, usually pretty crowded, at least on Thursday's. The drinks and food are pretty reasonable compared to places like Starbucks. Also, they have booze here, so that's a major plus in my book lol. They do have a patio, but it's only open for the spring-fall and isn't heated, so be warned it may be chilly if you want to go outside.

It's a very nice addition to the downtown Mishawaka food scene. It has a good variety of Cajun inspired dishes for adults and very cheap kids meals for the little ones. It would probably be a 5 star review if the prices were slightly lower. I may go ahead and change it to 5 after my next visit if the food and service remains as good as my 1st visit :)

We were able to eat on the patio so felt safe. Menu included tasty sandwiches and large salads on menu. It was evening and we could order wine. Very pleasant staff.

Thought there would be more Cajun flavor on shrimp po' boy, but mostly just tasted salty. Nothing special in what I ate, but they have a large menu so maybe I didn't choose well.

Chickory still open. Walked in and someone mentions kitchen is closed. How when u have handful of customers sitting and waiting for food......smh! This was the Mishawaka location. I wld give zero stars if possible! This was around 7:30pm on Wednesday 4-27-2022

A gem hidden away, didn't realize it was ever there. First time going there today. So clean and pleasant!! The food is good. We got a salad and a sandwich and split each in half.... perfect!

We had a good experience at the SB CC but we did not have a similar experience here. We order and pizza and caprese and were rather let down by the flavor. I felt the caprese was extremely bland and my wife didn't like the flavor of her Margarita pizza. Not fans anymore. The sandwiches here are lacking flavor! The bacon mac n cheese is good but all else is not worth the money in my opinion.

Had the Cobb Salad and a Wild Mushroom flat bread, both delicious and freshly made! Delicious iced Chi beverage to drink. Nice unique menu! Ordered at counter and delivered to your table 😊 Server was unable to give me public wifi password. Could add some relaxing dinner music.
