Chicory Cafe Mishawaka

Had one of the best times with my friend here. Not only does it have great decor, but the cashier is very friendly too. Order didnt take long either.

This is a great little restaurant! The staff is friendly and happy to answer questions about the menu, they have vegetarian friendly options, and the atmosphere is nice.
Their iced tea is very good. I'm a picky vegetarian, and their vegetarian options are very tasty!
There are board games tucked in to some shelves, in case you want to stay for awhile. There's also a large outdoor patio, with a lot of seating.

We came for lunch. I had a cup of seafood Gumbo, which came with cornbread. It was the perfect portioning for lunch. I'm very happy they had outdoor seating available as well.

Food is really good, but it’s the kind of place that will “forget” most of your side dishes when you place an order. Avoid until they start practicing accountability. I ordered delivery, but I know my driver didn’t steal the sides because my bag was stapled shut.

We have been here twice and I'm always met with kind, attentive employees who try hard to get to know to know their customers likes. There are so many coffee choices. On the most recent trip, I and my friends loved our drinks crafted by the Barista. However, my husband got a regular coffee and used the creamer at the end of the counter, although he enjoyed it, he had an extremely upset tummy within an hour and it lasted until the next day. I think something may have been wrong with the creamer but other than that issue, we enjoy this cafe.

The food was absolutely great especially the macaroni and cheese but I over heard the manager yelling something at the staff I don’t know the context but I heard him say the n- word and other curse words and all though I don’t know the context thoes words should never be said.

Food was great, the service was as well, but there was lots of profanity in the music piped overhead. The music was also overly loud. Other than that it was great

First time here and the food was great. Shrimp and grits were one of the best in the area.

Pretty younger servers. She couldn't figure out the only people with no food were the people waiting on food. She passed twice before yelling out the name for the order
