Chicory Cafe Mishawaka

Seemed like a good place to enjoy breakfast at first glance. Very poor hospitality, no greetings or anything. Just weird looks for standing back and looking at the overhead menu.

Great food and environment. They are more covid aware then most places these days. Seems clean and updated. A really great place to throw a party or just grab a specialty drink. Fantastic employees all around!

Cool spot after a run/ride to grab a bite or beverage.

Wonderful menu for breakfast, lunch and diner. My sandwich was excellent and the Gunbo was authentically zippy on the palate! It was great sitting outside on a beautiful day! The staff was sincerely friendly and helpful!

I ordered their spinach & artichoke dip... it comes with lightly toasted bread & a side salad. The salad was good. The spinach dips was yummy!! Although, IMHO, it could have used a little heat/kick/chilies. It was extra mild for being branded as a Cajun restaurant. Or they could have put some blackening seasoning on the bread when it was toasted.

Great food and coffee! They accidentally made extra of somebody’s order so they offered the food to people seated rather than throwing it away. Love it here!

This is such a cute place! The beignets were so good and I’ve had several positive experiences with the baristas and coffee :)

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and received phenomenal service. I ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy with a Nola coffee.

1. I am a big coffee person and the Nola coffee is such a perfect balance between sweet and flavourful.

2. If you are someone who likes a healthy portion of meat in your gravy, this is a good place to go. The portion size is a little small for what you pay, but it's reasonable.

3. There is plenty of parking and it is a short walk from River Park and Central Park. Definitely a decent morning date spot.
