Throughout our road-trip to SC from MN and back, this place was by far the best food and service we’d encountered. The staff were personable, kind, and funny, despite being extremely (and likely stressfully) busy. The owner was helping the staff by seating people, serving them, and cleaning the tables, and the rest of the waitstaff were working their butts off to provide awesome service to everyone. If we ever pass through again, this will be our first stop!

What a surprise to find this cafe on our trip. I will definitely come back on our way through. We stopped for brunch I ordered the chicken soup which was wonderful full of tender chicken the flavor was perfect. It's like sitting in your own kitchen with a bowl of homemade soup. 10 stars!!
My husband ordered a breakfast skillet that was fabulous. He has never left food on his plate before today. The portion was very generous.
We will definitely be coming back on our next trip through.
The local residents are extremely lucky to have this fresh, very well made and delectable restaurant in there town.

Good food, friendly staff, but pretty expensive for a basic breakfast. Even with prices going up everywhere, $13 for sausage, 2 eggs, a biscuit & breakfast potatoes is a bit steep. Add an iced tea + tax and it was about $17. All in all it was fine, no complaints about the food, staff or atmosphere, but not planning to return due to the cost.

I ordered the steak and eggs with a biscuit w/gravy. I didnt know biscuits could be that good. Also, best customer service of probably any restaurant. Coffee and water never went empty at our table of 9

Outrageous prices and cheap cafe food. Order a medium egg, got a soft egg. There were some cubed potatoes mixed with raw onions and green peppers, as well as some dirty burnt fries left over from the last order. I'm really not picky but if you're going to charge $20 for this it better be a good breakfast.

First time that I stepped inside since 2007 when Romweber was in business. Used to work on 2nd floor. (Finishing dept)
Ordered my food and didn't wait too long,, the server is wonderful. I'll be back again soon on my day off.

Got a triple order of biscuits and gravy. Very little sausage in the gravy. Also had to cut up biscuits with a knife (no kidding) . Now my son’s skillet breakfast was excellent.

Loved it. Amazing food (meatloaf sandwich was the best thing I’ve ever had) and the kindest, most attentive waiter who was sweet to my kids. We will be back!
