Long-time Peoria staple for coffee and tea, also carries baked goods. Great variety, lots of charm and no pretentiousness.

The place is in a cute area with a lot to do. The shop itself has a very grunge vibe. The food and pastry options are somewhat limited especially later in the day. The service isn’t particularly good and the place has a hippy vibe. It’s a small business in Peoria you can feel good supporting. Not a bad coffee shop.

Their food is pretty good but this place is consistently under staffed. 45 minutes is way to long to wait for a breakfast sandwich. Coffee is just ok. Almost every other coffee shop in Peoria has better coffee. Space has character which is probably best part of this little place in the heights.

BEST coffee I’ve ever had! The Pecan Sticky Bun coffee is to die for. Such a nice environment too! Staff is great. Can’t wait to go back!

I have only been the LnB a handful of times, but my experience has been positive every time. Their coffee is great, the atmosphere is a great departure from a Starbucks atmosphere, and their prices are reasonable. In addition, they are always staffed appropriately, and drinks are made quickly. Overall a 5 star rating from me.

Very disappointed this morning walked in order drink always get a Java freeze.. there at least three times a week if not me a co worker comes over and gets our stuff. After ordering a group came in and 4-5 people that came in after me received there drinks before me. At this point my drink still hasn’t been started. I was told the other people had shots so that’s why theirs was done first not fair to me.. I asked for money back was told we can get it started. No thank you.. will not be spending no more money at this establishment...

Had a great experience here. Ordered a turtle mocha and a regular cafe mocha and they were both very good (a little on the sweet side, but that's expected). Also ordered the BLTA crossaint sandwich (comes with kettle chips) and it was very good! Priced at $7, I thought it was reasonable. There was only one barista / worker there and she was speedy and accurate even though it was a little busy.
The building itself is super hipster and cute, but it is tiny. We easily found a place to sit, but it was a bit loud with other groups sitting so close. Not really the fault of the establishment, but it is a small building. Also, this is in the nice up and coming area of Peoria Heights which I would love to come back and explore a bit more, including another stop here at Leaves 'n Beans.

Always a great place to grab a coffee or tea. The baked goods are excellent and is a fun and relaxed environment. It is quiet enough to have a meeting over some coffee. The roasted beans are great also. Their Jamaican Me Crazy is my favorite.

First-time attending after several friends had recommended. I was underwhelmed by the setting & taste of the coffees. However, relative to other Peoria coffee houses (CxT, 30-30, Zion), the prices for most drinks here are cheaper by .50$-.75$.
Setting-wise, the place has upstairs table seating & downstairs couch-seating which emulates a homely atmosphere. Downstairs could have been vacuumed--scrappy carpets & broomed-but-not-collected dust. Seating upholstery was tattered & in need of replacement, several couches had me sinking into them signifying heavy usage. Adequate table seating upstairs built for studying, getting work done & appreciating the sun break through the windows.
I ordered the Bottomless Mug, 2.75$ gets you unlimited drip coffee for the day from 5 towers (3 caffeinated, 2 decaf flavors). I could not taste anything distinguishing from any of the drips available after trying all 5. I also tried the Mocha Latté with Almondmilk hoping for redemption, I would not recommend as I found the mocha powder tasting artificial. The coffee used in the Mocha could not be appreciated even faintly.
Given several trusted coffee alternatives in the Peoria area, I will not be returning.

If you haven't been to Leaves and Beans you're missing out - even as a non-coffee drinker, I can always find something to drink! My personal favorite is the iced blueberry tea lemonade!
