Great local coffee shop. I do my best to avoid the big chain coffee places if I can. This place had great options and I was not disappointed with my peanut butter chocolate java freeze (I hope that's what it's called) The staff was friendly and the vibe was cozy. I would definitely come back when in the area.

Great breakfast sandwiches, and amazing coffee. I wish they had a location in Chicago. I visited the first time this week, but for sure, we will make it a regular stop every time we visit our son in BU.

The blueberry muffins are easily the best in Illinois, including Chicago.

Actually I think you'd be hard pressed to find ANY place with better blueberry muffins. I was astounded.

Coffee is solid. Definitely going to be my new place in Peoria for coffee when I visit.

Since moving to Illinois I’ve been looking for a coffee shop near me and was super excited about this place since I don’t live that far. The first time I went pretty well. I got a very good impression, I loved the vibe. The only problem was I order a frozen got chocolate without whip cream (because my son hates whip) and I’m pretty sure they gave him a pumpkin spiced blended coffee drink with whip. Unless their frozen blended hot chocolate is pumpkin flavored, it had to have been a blended pumpkin coffee drink. Then the second time I went it took forever to get our drinks (mind you it was a Sunday and it was a little busy) they didn’t greet us when we ordered and it took my dad almost 15 minutes to get his drink because someone took his and the forgot to make him another one even though they said they would. Then we he got his coffee it was supposed to pumpkin spiced and I swear it was a vanilla latte. I was really disappointed the second time around. I might give it another chance but the service was so bad it’s making me not want to.

I very rarely post reviews. I came here to have a coffee while I was in the heights and ordered two drinks for me and my girlfriend, took a little long but I didn't mind that. Pretty place, but bad experience. What really shocked me was the lady behind the counter was not acting professional at all, while making our coffee she splashed creamer on the glass partition in an angry fashion, and then stirred our coffee with her bare finger! She looked like the only one there and I wasn't going to wait for a refund. We threw our coffees away and aren't coming back.

My husband and I walk by here regularly. We often stopped for a coffee and a smoothie. Friendly staff and a great little shop to hang out. They are leaving the chairs and tables outside so people can still hang out during covid. They are made of metal however I would recommend bringing a jacket or towel to sit on during the winter months.

It was very mediocre. The customer service was only okay. They messed up a few times throughout the order which we caught just in time for the person to fix. The chai chiller left a lot to be desired. The London fogs foam left an uncomfortable aftertaste. The hot chai had a confusing chocolate note that is not in most chai I've had. It wasn't a horrible experience, just hyped up a lot more than it should be.

I was just in here to get some coffee today. I had a very stressful work related phone call I had to take after receiving my order and accidentally dropped my full cup of coffee. I did not have the chance to end the phone conversation as it was very important for my business but had the chance to mute them and let the baristas know I had spilled.

I planned on cleaning it all up myself as soon as I had the chance to end my work related phone call but they immediately came over and cleaned it for me. They also gave me a new coffee for free and had an amazingly positive attitude the entire time. I was blown away mostly by the positivity I felt from the employees.

Quite frankly I was embarrassed with myself that I did not clean the mess up on my own and had to finish this important business call first and want to say a huge thank you to your employers for quickly cleaning my mess.

The point of this is, I have never seen someone go above and beyond in the coffee or food business like the team at leaves and beans did. I will 100% keep coming back and spread the word of the amazing service I received. Wow! Thank you

Will never come back here - I came to study and all I could hear was the manager berating the employees loudly! She was also rude when I asked a simple question. It doesn’t seem she wants any business. Unprofessional environment treat your employees and customers better since you’re nothing without them. If you can’t be a good leader get a new job.
