Blue Box Cafe

Fun ambiance, good food... more of a coffee shop with a sandwich menu kind of thing. Service was quick and friendly. A couple of cool Dr Who references and an episode playing on the flat screens. They might go a little further with the decor if they really want to embrace the theme, but it was a good sandwich/coffee shop.

I used to go here a lot and it was pretty good but I stopped after finding a hair in my sandwich. Me and another young lady in the cafe that day had the same problem. I never went back after that.

Came to Elgin to visit a friend. I was very surprised to find out it had a Dr. Who themed cafe! Loved the atmosphere and staff were nice.

Snowflake owner got triggered by someone handing out flyers. Looked into why he was triggered. turns out he got fined for an outbreak that happened at another business he owns and he did nothing to stop it. Needless to say, it killed my appetite

Great sandwiches and drinks. The staff is super nice and the decor is awesome. Can't wait to go back!

Just moved to Elgin and tried a sandwich here at the advice of some friends. Loved it—amazing. My wife is a coffee drinker and she loves their many different varieties. We’re not big Dr. Who fans but we really appreciate the quirky and sincere love of the show the owners have. Makes us want to watch!

Amazing grilled cheese and friendly staff. Cool environment. Def one of a kind!

This place has amazing sandwiches. I've been here about 5 times and it's always amazing. Just had the turkey reuben and it's the best one I have ever had. Same with their specialty coffee drinks. They're all incredible. Also, this cafe has a Dr. Who theme to it and it's great if you're a Whovian. But, my god, the sandwiches are delicous.

Great food and coffee. There are lots of amazing options. Friendly team and nice space as well to relax, study, or have a conversation.
