Coffee is very good and the pastries come fresh every morning ( and you can tell 😁)! Staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The only down fall is the price..I think for some of the drinks could be a dollar or two less...but I’d rather pay a couple extra bucks to support a small business over starbucks or Dunks.

My favorite place for coffee in Chicago. I have been coming here for over 7 years and the quality and service have always been consistent. They take their time while preparing your coffee or tea, but it’s def worth the wait. This is not the place to go for coffee on the run, but rather to soak up the experience of real and authentic coffee. Their cookies and pound cakes are also amazing.

Great neighborhood coffee shop — great coffee and environment. Due to COVID, they don’t allow customers to enter the store (even after guidelines allow for it), but they’ve stood up a carry out window. You can order there or submit an order via their app.
We live in the neighborhood so we buy Intelligentsia beans for at home brewing. We love the Breakfast and House blends. The baristas will grind the beans for you too!
I treat myself to a latte every now and then as well. It’s my go-to at their shop!

The drip coffee was very good as was the almond croissant.
Also bought beans but haven't gotten to try them yet.
I collect mugs as I can so I appreciated the unique selection available.
Drip coffee took longer than expected from a carafe.
Cute layout.
Would definitely recommend.

I don't have a problem with the service. In fact every time I went there, people were nice.
However, the coffee is bad bad bad. Either it's covered by a thick layer of oil (like why and how), or it tastes like mud. They consistently offer bad coffee. I stopped going after about a dozen cups of muddy tasting coffee.

I love the vibe and feel of this coffee shop. I don't much care for a lot of their coffees, but i still love this place. They do pour over coffees for very fancy coffee. They are much more than eager to tell you all about their fancy coffees. Their pastry selection is very small and some of them i don't care for, but i like the gateau basc quite a bit. Coffees are stupid expensive, but the vibe here is amazing. There's also a really nice community feel because of the big table community seating arrangement, so whether you're enjoying a Saturday morning or doing freelance work, you just feel like you're part of something bigger here. They also have an amazing patio.

Truly the best coffee I have had in this city. Baristas have always been helpful with recommendations and their assessments of different coffees. I usually walk in looking for help and they have always proceed help. Coffee here is light to medium roast, which I love. Some people will hate that because it is so bright (possibly sour)....but this is the best espresso on Earth. I love it and I hope you will at least give it a try!

The quality of the coffee is five stars. However the prices are quite High and the amount of cappuccino is rather small which is why I gave it an overall 3 stars. The regular coffees you do get a decent amount however. The outdoor tables can use a hold do over as I found them wobbly and far too few.

Shame on these people for not having any heat in their establishment! The hard working staff is working during a brutal winter without heat just so that people can get a cup of overpriced and very underwhelming coffee. This is deplorable and just down right disgusting. DO BETTER.

Awesome cold brew in a cozy hipster setting!
