Kind people, fun museum, great food, and an amazing gift shop! I definitely recommend the stop or detour!

Nice stop along the way that makes you appreciate potatoes more! The gift shop is a bit pricey.

Great museum to see to/from Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Park. Surprisingly informative and gives you a nice perspective and insight into a food that influences everyone's life. Attendant was very sweet and helpful.

When in Idaho...
Fun, quirky and educational place to visit if you're in the area. They've got a Potato Head play area for the kids and we learned a good amount about potatoes and their harvesting history.

Glad I stopped in, didn't do the small museum but had tater tots in the little cafe. Fun stop.

A sort-of fun, very small, museum dedicated to potatoes. There is an admission cost of $6/person which is a bit steep for what amounts to two rooms of exhibits. You can easily see the whole thing in about twenty minutes.
You do get a bag of freeze-dried potatoes as a souvenir though.

My family loved it. We actually spent quite a bit of time there. It is a small museum but my older ones liked the VR glasses and the computer video game. My four year old liked making her own potato head and my 8 year old liked racing them. We ate baked potatoes, potato ice cream, and Reed's chocolate milk at the Station cafe which is attached. What such a fun time learning and looking at everything potato.

So cute and Full of information I would never have considered that goes into the history of potatoes, their farming, and products. Had a great baked potato at the potato station Cafe attached to the museum.

Small little museum, doesn't take long to go through. Did learn a few things and they have some interesting displays.

This place is a treasure trove of potato info.
You can't go to Idaho and not visit the museum for which this great state is known for.
