This place is SICK!! A really well done museum! So much to see and they even had virtual reality AND a cinema! I bought a lot of great potato merchandise and was really impressed by all the fun potato facts and information. The woman at the front desk was also really nice and gave us complimentary mashed potatoes! I WILL BE BACK.

Who knew that a Potato was so interesting that its history would fill a Museum? It's absolutely incredible and it has some interactive stuff for kids. Cute gift shop and a great place for fries and ice cream.

Such a fun experience. My husband and I came here as we were driving through and I'm so glad we did. Learned a lot about potatoes and their origins. Very sweet staff. Highly recommend for a fun activity and learning experience!

This museum was very nice. It is quite a small museum however, it was also cheap at $6. They had videos which showed how fries are developed but backwards. The small restaurant they had offered a few itmes which contained potatoes such as Potato Ice Cream. The list they had was small compared however it would've been nice if they had a larger variety of items which contained potatoes. Nevertheless, it was a good experience and enlightening to attend.

Super interesting. Lots of displays about the history of potatoes, how to grow them and lots of different ways to harvest. Great things in the gift shop and the singing potatoes in the cellar were a hit.

Potatoes are my life. Once, I built a house out of potatoes, then I ate it. No more house. Best museum in the world, spuds down!

Visited here on a family vacation and really enjoyed the displays and the cafe. My hat's off to the two teenagers who were swamped at lunchtime and still managed to get the food cooked and to our table. Be sure to watch the singing potatoes in the cellar and try the VR goggles.

If you are passing thru Blackfoot ID this is a small but well done museum worth stopping for. Set in the town's original railroad station this is a quaint, classic small town RR depot by the tracks with all its original charm preserved. Has a gift shop with everything potato-themed. Small cafe serves local potatoes prepared to order in various ways including loaded baked potatoes (with topping of the day, the sausage gravy was terrific!) a potato bar, and generous baskets of the longest fries I've ever seen, all very tasty. Has a kids area for hands-on activities. Can be done in 30 min easily, or take your time for an hour or more. Even has a tiny movie theatre for a short video, all about potatoes of course.
