Island Lava Java Waikōloa

It's next to a golf course, so it's pretty touristy. The food is decent and theres often live music, and it's a peaceful place, but it felt a bit artificial.

Limited menu but cute restaurant, delicious food and coffee, and very friendly staff!

I'm just a disgruntled employee. Don't like these guys and the way they do things.

No real menus! They just remodeled and reopened. Good to see them back at one of my favorite coffee shops.
My complaint is that they have QR codes for you to order and option to phone pay.
When I travel I do not want to give out my personal information or be on my cell phone while eating(it’s rude behavior) .
I want to see a paper menu!!! Please bring back the paper menus. I’m on vacation so my phone is silenced.

Beautiful place. Nice little outdoor seating. Breakfast was amazing. They are considerate on adding additional or modify a dish. They charge extra but still you get what you want. For replacement they did not charge extra though. We were 4 and ordered 4 drinks and 4 breakfast. Bill was $96 before tips. walk in and add to wait list

Extremly rude and condescending staff, especially in front of my kiddos. Not worth it, so many other options that are way better. Never again!

Great local breakfast- lunch spot. Excellent coffee. Croissant breakfast sandwich is a real winner and the basic breakfast is delicious with the red rose roasted potatoes. Outdoor tables available. Very nice staff. Enjoy!

The food was good, but they were a bit unorganized. The coffee was merely warm and they forgot part of my dish. I do have to say the kalua omelet was delicious. I'd just make sure you get hot coffee and make sure all your food comes out.

Pancakes were very hearty and yummy! The sausage and coffee were also pretty tasty. I wasn’t as impressed as I was hoping for over all. The staff was friendly and informative.

I was just there to order coffee for me and my lady and took 15 minutes for them to take my order. Had the iced Cafe Lattee and the Coffee Eclipse.

Coffee latte was just pure cream and the coffee eclipses (was already pre brewed) just tasted terrible. Lady could have been more professional, attentive and polite.
