Island Lava Java Waikōloa

Great place for coffee in a chill breakfast atmosphere. Good prices, nice calming live music. I recommend the veggie omelette!

Fantastic breakfast, low key vibe and mostly open air (shaded) cafe. We got the paniolo benedict and the big islands basics breakfast plus some Kona coffee and all were spot on.

Welcome to Hawaii, where hours of operation are a recommendation and not a set standard. Showed up at 1pm and although the closing time is 2pm (for a place that serves lunch food) I was told the kitchen was no longer open.

I was really excited about this place but they were out of quite a few items. No waffles, pancakes, macadamia nut for lattes.

Drove here for half an hour only for them to tell us they won’t serve us food because they close in 45 minutes. Change your hours so you don’t waste people’s time.

Generous portions. Friendly attentive wait staff. If you have a dislike for assertive sparrows this is not the place for you. :) Luau omelet and Island Style pancakes shown.

I had an early lunch here. Great vegetarian sandwich, really good iced americano and attentive service.

Delicious breakfast! Both for my husband and I. Great prices for you want you get. Probably the best breakfast we've had on the island!

Great tasting 5 shot espresso Americano blend. Fast and friendly service by engaging staff. Located in Waikaloa villages skipping the 20 min drive to Starbucks located at the Waikaloa resorts. Ordered the zucchini bread which was perfectly moist, fresh and delicious. Been here on previous stays in Waikaloa villages over the years and I have not been disappointed with my liquid motivation.
