Island Lava Java Waikōloa

Ditched the hotel free breakfast to come to Island Lava Java. Quite disappointed. Food is just okay (quality and flavor) and it’s also rather expensive considering what you got. Likely my least favorite meal on the island. Should have stayed at the hotel. 😂 The Hawaiian Style Cafe is sooooo much better.

Services was good though.

Food was absolutely AMAZING!!! All of their drinks are freshly squeezed and the entire family's tastebuds and stomachs were satisfied.

Really friendly service and nice outdoor eating area. The latte could've been a bit stronger (dosage) but the açaí bowl and the croissant breakfast sandwich was insanely delicious. Easy to pay and close out the check as well. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Food here is decent and service is great. We were seated for breakfast fairly quick. The fresh pineapple juice was amazing.

I have been here for a week and finally got here. Great breakfast and service. Excellent eggs, potatoes and mocha.

The service here was phenomenal. The food was scrumptious. I will definitely, definitely be going back next time I visit my parents.
I loved my mac nut latte. Hands down one of the best I have ever had. I had the eggs Benedict on a croissant, and it was soooo good. The sauce was my favorite ever. The croissant was soft and flaky and buttery and so, so, delicious. Actually, I let my boys and fiance try some, and they liked it so much they bought an extra croissant.
My boys ate *all* of their breakfast (usually they get "most" if it's pretty good - all is unheard of!).
They have plenty of options and the prices are excellent for location, portioning, and food quality.
Our server was Cheryl. She. Was. Superb.
Hands down the best service I have had when out with my family. Friendly, patient, attentive, paid special mind to explain the differences in coffees.... Amazing.

We had breakfast here and the food was pretty good. Staff was very friendly.

Sandwhich was ok, the frappe was icy and flavorless, which is usually my favorite drink here, and service wasn't great from the front counter. The digital ordering on the touch pad is confusing, and one of the waitstaff was upset because we decided to dine in, after selecting dine out. We were told to select dine-in next time. We apologized, as it was our fault for the confusion the switch caused, but they kept repeating themselves over and over. We understood the first time, no need to be rude about it. When my friend went in to pay for her portion, and inquire when her drink would be ready (we were already well done with our food), the front waitstaff wouldn’t allow her to wait for her change and sent her out with no receipt and to wait for it at the table. Our waitress at the table, however, was lovely and kind.

Very nice location with the best omelet I’ve ever eaten. Pancakes are also very delicious and a huge portion. Staff is so lovely and friendly! When we were there, an ukulele player sang some songs for us. It was simply great and we will definitely come back :)

Best eggs Benedict I've had on the island. Iced Latte was perfect too. Great service. Place was a bit warm, no ac or fans.
