Absolute BEST coffee shop on the island. Cold Brew toddy had zero bitter aftertaste. Smoothies were fresh and fantastic and the food, especially the avocado toast, was perfect. So good it surprised me. Top it off with some pretty cool clothing items and bean coffee and excellent service. Java Kai is a must if you visit. If you live here I’m sure you already know.

I ordered the kalalau avo based on one of the workers recommendation and I was really disappointed. It looks better than it tastes, pretty plain and no flavor. Would def come back and try the açaí bowl.

Super popular by locals and tourists alike especially on the weekends. During the weekdays it's less intense in the mornings so plan accordingly. Everything is great so eat up!

The cold brew is flavorful but the barista used so much ice it was instantly watered down. I also asked a question about the cold brew and they were pretty short with their response. The whole experience left me wanting more.

Came here several times on our 10 day trip. Delicious food and good coffee. I loved the smoothies we got and the bagels! Great service except one lady we dreaded seeing every time. She was older and wore glasses and a side bride and worked the espresso machine. You could tell she didn’t want anyone there and made everyone uncomfortable with her snippy remarks. Deleted two stars literally just for her attitude and she was there every day.

Their breakfast was amazing! The cost was a little higher but well worth it. I got the waffles and they were delicious. My wife got the surfer girl and she said it was the best ever! I wish we could have gone again.

We stopped here for coffee on the way to our rental and got the MacNut Latte. It is subtly sweet, creamy and delicious! We all liked it so much we went out of our way to go back almost every day for our drink! Staff are fantastic and friendly and actually used my travel mug, unlike many places on the mainland! Do be prepared for a bit of a wait though as it is a small place and very popular.

Yummy sweet coffee drink! Cute shop next door. A bit of a spendy drink, 7$ ish. Bought some decaf beans!

Oh my goodness. I wish we would have found this place earlier. I think these were the best waffles I've ever had. I also got an iced Maui mocha, which was so yummy. Don't even look anywhere else for coffee and breakfast. Go here now!!!
