Whomever is in the kitchen really cares about the food they're making. Excellent flavors. Salad with papaya dressing, dilly egg sandwich, iced shark bite drink.

My partner next to me as im writing this: this is probably the best avocado toast I've ever had.

Food and drinks were more then I expected 🤩 I went early morning 4 days in a row and was never disappointed. The staff wasn't as friendly as the atmosphere ( I get it maybe they're not morning people )

So good! Cute little cafe in the middle of the shops. Delicious food. I wasn't sure about the Island chicken salad but it was delicious! I'd go back and have that any day. My friend had the turkey pesto and loved her plate as well. Mahalo nui loa for a delicious lunch!

I ordered the Kalalau Avo avocado toast and it was sooo delicious! Highly recommend. They also have pastries available and some were vegan! They have non-dairy and milk alternative options available for their drinks. I loved Java Kai so much that we visited three times during our stay on Kauai island - twice at this location and a third time at the Kilauea location.

I love their food. It is so good! But they have gotten super busy of late so if it is a weekend or during a typical meal time you might have to wait for awhile.

Wow! At the end of our trip and this food and coffee is the best we have had on the entire island of Kauai. Make sure you visit Kapaa and hit up Java Kai. I did the Red Eye iced, and the ham + Egg Sam. My wife did the Surfer Girl with an iced vanilla latte. What do the kids say these days…. Oh yeah, BUSSIN!

Hands down the best breakfast I had on the island. The lines wraps down the street, but moves fast enough. Biggest challenge to that was I kept seeing other people's meals and changing my mind.

I settled on the Feta Mo Betta, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, house made pesto, fresh tomato, sprouts, feta cheese and balsamic drizzle. I'd ordered it on a plan bagel, but it came out on an everything bagel. You know what? I wasn't even mad, because it was the better choice anyway and was incredible.

I also had a delicious coconut milk latte with a single pump if Mac Nut syrup. Delicious. Had I found this place earlier in the week, I would have eaten here again.

Don't be like me. Go early, go often.

The best... absolute best breakfast of my life! This place has the best salty and sweet food. The bowls are amazing, the bagels are great and the toppings are soft and well done. The pesto is one of the best ones I have even tried. I totally recommend this place, it’s a gem. Must try in Kauai! Great vibes too... you’re welcome ;)

By farrrrr the best brekkie in Kauai!! My husband and I went to many - manyyyy brekkie places but this was by far our favourite! Their selections for food was great and really fresh and coffee is good! (The oat milk was a little thin and dulled put the flavour of the espresso but the coffee was stil ah- mazing)!
