The French Café - Hamlin

Forget about Starbucks and stay local with this gem of a place. The vibe is cool, the coffee and food are excellent! The staff are welcoming and attentive. If you're looking for a great spot in the Hamlin, Horizon West area, this is it.. Go check it out!

Probably the worst crepe I've ever had. I thought being a French Cafe it would be good. Very dry inside and the strawberries were mushy and sour tasting. The crepe on the outside was just awful. After 3 bites I was done. Way overpriced.

While the food is good, the time it took for us to have our food served was far too long. In addition, we ordered a cheese danish, which was available at the time of our arrival but the staff forgot to give it to us and sold the remaining ones, meaning we were not able to receive what we had ordered. Everything we eat have was acceptable but it is hard to recommend a place that has slow service and forgets customer orders

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. The pastries are delicious. Do not come here on a Saturday afternoon if you do not have time to wait. Highly suggest ordering ahead in this case. I think a lack of staff plus the lunch rush caused chaos. I ended up waiting 45 minutes. A friend of mine waited 30 minutes for a coffee and orange juice. Which to me shows a lack of prioritization. Again, I think more staff will help. I will not be back to dine in and may consider online order in the far future.

The food was delish as usual and the service was over the top! They were flexible and went off the menu to meet our dietary needs and make us feel pleased.
