Hubby and I were finally here early enough to make it in and try it. He ordered the sugar beignet and an iced chai latte. I had a chocolate croissant and a latte. He ate his beignet and drank his chai latte insanely quickly because he said they were some of the best tasting he'd had in a long time. My chocolate croissant was fantastic, as was my latte.
The service is NOT speedy not that friendly, but it's a French-style cafe so it's exactly what I expected.
We were just looking for a nice relaxing morning, and this was perfect.

My Favorite Breakfast Place! I’m a frequent client. Food is spectacular, coffee is amazing. Food is fresh and the taste is above and beyond. I feel so welcomed every time I walk in. I wanted to give a shout out to Marcus and Tiago who are just amazing at their jobs. I recommend this place to all my friends and family! I hope you have a great experience as well!

What to say about The French Café - Hamlin?
My cousin tried your palmiers over a year ago when pregnant with her second child and it is the best thing she could taste and the best palmier she had in a long time (we love palmiers in our family and have tried them from many places). So she always wondered if it tasted so good because she was pregnant. We visited them last weekend and I thought to get some for all of us and finally get an answer to that question.
I called close to 11 am and got an answer right away. I asked how many palmiers they had left and reserved them all for pickup later. Due to covid-19, they change the hours of operation, now closing at 3 pm. I rolled up at 2:48 pm. The place was packed, which is a good sign food is good. The service was good, I didn't wait too long despite the line, and everyone not seated was eating a mask.
I picked up the palmiers and got 2 chocolate croissants.
The are indeed one of the best palmiers we've had. They are exactly the right amount of sweet you want, they're not rock hard and a perfect treat for any moment. Highly recommend it!

This place was a nice find. The names of the sandwiches alone get me excited. This was the Monte cristo Turkey and cheddar on French toast with this amazing mustard.
I can’t wait to go back.
The coffee was grade A. The machine was so shiny.

The food here is excellent. I didn’t know what to expect with the portion size but you definitely get your money’s worth. The food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who likes breakfast food, pastries, and coffee. Will be coming here again.

Decent experience.
We finally tried out one of the newest additions to Hamlin...the French Cafe, in search of crepes and french delicacies.
At arrival, the staff outside greeted us even before we got to the front door and helped us find seats during the busy breakfast hour.
We navigated the menu to settle on veggie crepe, omelette, french toast, and FRESH squeezed OJ.
We were pleasantly satisfied with all items and food was cooked perfectly.
I am looking forward to them adding more varieties like breakfast style crepes, more kid friendly item selections, and overall menu. However, we will be back soon to try out the pastries and latte.
Seating can be limited during rush times but they have nice outdoor seating. The interior ambiance is fresh and modern with a Parisian feel.
Overall, well composed and authentic concept.

I wanted to like this place. I was so excited to find this place after La Madeleine closed in mall of millennia… the breakfast with croissant is $17 and cold eggs… American coffee $4 and no refills… napoleon is $7… Epcot has it cheaper at $5. So no i can’t like this place unfortunately 🥹 it feels more like Brazilian not French including the customer service..

Unfortunately this is my second time here- the last time they didn't have a chef so I had to leave. Today we went and waited an hour for the wrong orders- when we went to address it we had to start all over again. Alot of operational challenges they need to address. We will not be back.
Updating following - though it took a VERY long time the team there was very patient and kind as they were absolutely having operational challenges keeping up. They gave our table of additional croissants as we waited for the remaining orders which was unexpected.

The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and kind... which is a nice bonus, but let's talk about the food! Nutella French Toast, Cappuccino, Croque Monsieur, Quiche...and so much more. I had the quiche and it practically melted in my mouth. So delicious and spot on, I can only imagine how the rest of their food tastes. I'm a fan, I'll definitely be back!

New in the Hamlin area.
Wonderful French Cafe on the SR 429 and New Independence Blvd.
Most friendly staff. Good selection on the menu, which allows for one to costumize it.
The food is jus:
Exquisite....
