🥯 Brooklyn Bagels & Deli Beneva

During my visit this past weekend, I tried Brooklyn Bagel with my friends, who recommended it. Listen, the line was out the door, and yes, we had a little wait; the food was good as well as service. We had a little of everything bagels with honey walnut cream cheese, bacon egg and cheese, and a bagel with lox; definitely worth the wait.

I had the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. It was delicious! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. The croissant was well buttered and grilled. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to all my friends.

Very good, fresh bagels and sandwiches.
I wish they would get authentic NYC style Corned Beef brisket and Pastrami, but at least it’s Boar’s Head, which is fine.

We're New Yorkers who recently located here determined to find our Florida bagel shop. Woman who took our order was warm and friendly, but the Brooklyn Tradition with sausage and Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwiches my husband and I ordered were just eh. We got the sandwiches on bagels (egg everything for me and his was on a plain bagel) and the consistency of both bagels just wasn't there for us. The word "dough-y" comes to my mind and my husband described his bagel as "a frozen, supermarket bagel that you warm up." Don't mean to be harsh but bagels have a very specific exterior and interior consistency that makes them, well, bagels. Also, the eggs left a lot to the imagination. Lastly, the bagels were smaller than what we're used to but this might be a regional thing rather than something specific to this shop. We may try this place again and just order a super simple plain bagel with cream cheese but, alas, the search for out go-to bagel shop unfortunately continues.

This is the first and only place so far I have taken the time to leave a review just because I am so impressed. The bagels here are amazing, the staff is lovely.

Decent bagel place for Florida. Certainly not comparable to NY bagels especially Brooklyn but it’s hard to replicate the taste/style anywhere else. Bagels were smaller than usual so you may want to order 2. Staff was prompt and friendly and store was clean.

So I'm a New York City's Brooklyn native, and I've been to Brooklyn Bagels for years! I am kinda disappointed. Last time I came, the place was sold out... understandable and exciting. It was suggested that I call ahead next time, to make sure there are bagels. This I did.

Today I called ahead, asked them to hold bagels. I showed up and got a greeting at the door, and proceeded to the order counter. I looked around and the place was stocked full of bagel options... Awesome. Young man that took order was super cool. Woman behind making orders, not so customer friendly. She had attitude in her voice and on her face.

I ordered a sausage egg and cheese, and friend ordered, we sat and waited. We sat for about 15 minutes as 4 walk in customers were served their order. I forgot to ask earlier, but I asked the gentleman for my sandwich to be on a toasted bagel. The woman answered from the counter (who I didn't ask), "we grill our bagels..", then says "I think she's done anyway.

I wanted my food the way I wanted my food, but apparently I couldn't. If I could've asked, I sure didn't want confrontation with that woman. Overall, food was acceptable, not great for obvious reasons. My friends order was also not made correctly the 1st go round. Unless changes are made, or old owners and chef/cook comes back, this is my last go round to BB&G.
