The food was extraordinary

Best Cuban food I ever ate. We shared the Lechon Asado and Rosa’s Chicken. Perfectly seasoned, tender and flavorful. The black beans with green bell peppers and the tasty ripe sweet maduros rounded out a great lunch for us. Wish we could take this restaurant home with us.

We ordered two appetizers: the spicy shrimp was just right and the meat filled pastries were perfect. My club sandwich was outstanding. My lovely companion enjoyed her chef salad and said it had generous portions of meat and cheese. We highly recommend this little bistro.

Came here for lunch. Wait staff is great- very kind. However, this place boasts authentic Cuban cuisine but hardly anything on the menu reflects this. I had to forcefully ask for white rice and beans because that wasn't even on the menu. The taste of food was alright- Although some might say it's Lake City, I've tasted better for the price. Had steak with white rice and beans as well as a "Cuban"-styled sandwich.

If I was just reviewing the food itself, it would be 5 stars. But since this is an overall experience with everything I have to put a 2 star review. For several reasons. My friend and I went to Jessica's for lunch. Mind you if you have a normal hour lunch like most people avoid this place. Whenever we first entered, the hostess told us to wait a few moments then four gentleman walked in the door. We were promptly seated & then had to wait 25 minutes to even get a drink request made. (Water with lime no lemons were available) The men that came in behind us already had their drinks & were placing their orders before we ever even got to make our request for a drink. Which we did at the same time we ordered, we didn't have time to waste. Another 20 minutes passed before we received our drinks. Then our food came out about 15 minutes after our waters. So we automatically had to ask for to go trays due to not having enough time to eat then leave to get back to work. No apologies we're given until walking out of the door. Ridiculous. Will never go there again for a timed lunch break. 1 hour just to get the food. I understand it's not a "fast food" place but come on.

Best chicken quesadilla I have ever had!

Great menu with decent prices. Excellent Cuban food. I had chicken mojito with fried onions th hat was tender,tasty with crispy skin. I could eat that every night. My husband had to send his steak back to cook a little longer, but very flavorful. Waitress was alone but did an admirable job of keeping up and serving everyone. Will definitely go back!

I really enjoyed my meal. Very large portions, but reasonably priced. Very delicious!
Atmosphere was very nice. Met a friend there and it was private & quiet enough for personal conversation. Looks like a nice date night spot, too.

Jessica's Bistro is a really great to stop by if your passing through. The food is very good and tasty. We ordered French onion soup and the veggie pasta with marinara. A few thing: 1. while it was clean, the furniture is old and the overall feel of the place I think could use the talent of a good decorator, in other words - it needs an update. 2. The mashed potatoes were a bit thick and over whipped. 3. The servers are super nice and the food was quick, but they could use a bit more professional training.

Overall a great place to stop and eat, I just feel it has a ton of potential to be much more successful.

Very nice place. Food was absolutely amazing. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Really wish they were on the Main Street so they would get more exposure. The Cuban sandwich I had was second to none. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'd definitely visit here again.
