Great food! The owner was very friendly and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. The Cuban sandwiches were delicious! I would highly recommend trying the Taste Of Cuba combo.

Just so happened to be driving by this location, such a cute setup, & you can smell the food from outside. My first time, so I asked for recommendation, & received the “Real Deal Cuban “ sandwich. Absolutely AMAZING! Super pleased. And Wld come again, when in the area. Thank you for the delicious food served.

If you are looking for a delicious breakfast and like to support the mom & pop places in the world, check this place out! My husband had their steak and eggs, I ordered the tamales with 2 eggs on top. The tamales had EVERYTHING on it! They were both delicious and there was enough leftovers for 2 more meals. We also ordered their Cuban coffee…which was such a treat! The service was outstanding, really above and beyond. The ?owner gave us complimentary food and coffee to try which was unexpected and very appreciated.
The restaurant is a food truck attached to a covered seating area, behind Hardee’s. It’s easy to miss, but you don’t want to miss this place!

There was enough food to feed a family! And it was all amazing! The owners are talkative and friendly. We were just passing through the town but would make a special trip back here in the future:)

We needed to stop for lunch on our way home from Orlando and found this spot on Google. Right off the 75, it was well worth the small detour!

Delicious authentic Cuban food in a comfortable setting. It's not a fancy sit down restaurant but you won't care after you've eaten their food! Or take it to go, but sitting down and talking to the people who work there is well worth it too.

We had the Taste of Cuba which was a perfect item to order if you want a little bit of everything but the Cuban and Midnight Sandwhich was our favorite!

THIS is real deal, authentic, Cuban food. Properly seasoned, made with SOUL. I am from Miami and this is my new go to when I pass by this area.

What a treasure this place was. I stumbled across it based on other Google reviews looking for a somewhere to eat in Lake City. It was conveniently near the interstate, which was close to our hotel on Hwy 90. I am so glad I stopped. Was the best food I had during our stay.
I had a Cuban that was one of the best I have had period and by far the best I have had outside of Miami. The bread was fresh and tasty, the pork was juicy and flavorful. My son is a picky eater and we ordered just the pork sandwich and he gobbled that up. I tried a bite and it was outstanding as well. My wife and Father both had a café con leche and both raved about it.
I talked with Angel while was there and he was such a nice friendly guy. He was telling me about how he slow cooks the pork, and the taste confirms that, and how his father worked for Bustelo and how he learned to make the perfect coffee. I am not a coffee person, but my wife and father would definitely vouch for that as they both talked about coffee the rest of the day. I guess he does Catering as well, what a gem.
I will definitely find excuses to stop through here when I am traveling on I75. I am so jealous I don't have a place like this in my local area. Definitely worth a visit. This place is worth waiting an extra hour to get to this exit. Seriously, that good.

They never disappoint! Everything is always so so delicious and you’re never a stranger. I love walking into a place and feeling comfortable. They take care of you and treat you like family and make you feel so welcome. The Cuban sandwich is my favorite! I highly highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat and a wholesome conversation. You not only leave there satisfied but you leave with a smile and I couldn’t ask for more 😁

The entertainment was almost as enjoyable as the food. We had the Cuban sandwiches and they were fantastic! The coffee and flan are also very good. They are set up just off the Interstate and the guy who served us was a lot of fun.
Well worth the stop.

Well the cuban sandwich here is delicious. Can you get a better cuban sandwich? The star is the slow roasted pork and they do a phenomenal job slow cooking it.

Simplicity done at its best. You can tell the owners love what they do here.

If you are not from lake city, take the exit just for the food here and a friendly chat with the owners. It's near walmart.
