Jessica's Bistro

I'm one of the first Cuban-American kids born in Lake City, some time during the last millennium. I've since moved to South Florida, where I have the opportunity to enjoy great Cuban food. I never imagined Lake City would ever have such an great Cuban restaurant. Jessica is an amazing host, and the food is outstanding. The next time we take a trip "up north", we'll definitely be stopping by for a bite.

Perfect stop for lunch! Traveling through the state and wanted a convenient local restaurant. Cuban inspired menu, fresh food, classy atmosphere. Even the cook was whistling while he worked :) We will definitely stop here again!

My husband and I stopped at Jessica’s Bistro on our way home to Iowa and wow were we so glad we stopped! We saw the sign on I-75 and we’re just about to stop at fast food and quickly changes our minds. Julie was so welcoming and was able to get us our order fast. The food was delicious! We ended up having the cuban and Miami sandwiches but everything sounded so good we order rice & beans, guava pastries, and cuban coffee as well. Everything was hot and tasted so good! We have already decided we will stop here every time we are in the area. Thank you!

We stopped in for a late lunch after searching for a local place to eat while driving back to IN from FL. Julie, our server, was wonderful at suggesting items on the menu. The food did not disappoint. It was amazing, homemade and fresh. The portions for the price are great. I would highly suggest stopping in to eat here. Thank you for a great experience.

What a great find! The Cuban food here is homemade and made with pride. I had the empanadas and my husband had the bistecca .. both were delicious 😋 its right off 75 so it's easy to get to

Omg so clean and well decorated. Our server was highly experienced and the food was great. At first you wouldn't think it would fill you up but I was wrong. We needed a to go box and the food was well put together and not stopped on your plate I almost didn't want to disturb the masterpiece lol.

We stopped here driving through and Julie helped us. She was very friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. The food was SO good. The empanadas are AMAZING, so good we got an extra order to bring home. I think we found our new Lake City lunch spot. We will definitely be back.

Our family stopped in for lunch while on a road trip since the location is so easily accessible from I-75. The food was varied, plentiful and delicious - we especially loved the plantains. Thanks to Julie for the excellent service and great suggestions. If you’re travelling by Lake City, do yourself a favour and stop at Jessica’s Bistro!

I had grilled shrimp which came with lovely black beans, rice and some zucchini. All very good with one little caveat. The cook got a little heavy handed with salt on the zuke. Otherwise, all good! My husband had a Pork Lechon bowl. Delish☺️

Great little place.

I had the Chicken Parmesan, it was amazing. Also a large portion.

My wife had the soup and salad. She was less impressed only because it had hard boiled eggs in the salad. It was however platted well and a large portion.

My 5yo little girl had chicken tenders and fries, both were piping hot and fresh.
