Midway Cafe & Coffee Bar

Great little breakfast and lunch place in Islamorada. Most seating is outside and it is very quaint. Food was fresh and healthy with lots of yummy looking pastries as well. We had breakfast potatoes, hash brown casserole, and fried eggs. We will be back.

I will tell you that I have passed this place a number of times and last weekend we finally stopped‼️We should've stopped here years ago, but I promise you that we will not pass this place again‼️ if you want a cool and quaint place for some breakfast here in Islamorada....come here and put your vehicle in PARK‼️ This spot on Overseas Hwy and a great place for breakfast‼️ The KEYS atmosphere is on point, the service in impeccable and the food is what you need to get your day started‼️ I only wished they had MIMOSAS 😁, but maybe one day. If you happen to stop by....ask for the General Manager Amanda‼️She is so cool, professional and polite.....she will absolutely make your day‼️She took care of my family.....and we came with 8 people‼️They accommodated us IMMEDIATELY....and sometimes that is hard to do with that party size‼️ Stop by for some Islamorada hospitality and some great grub‼️Tell Amanda I said hello‼️💯👍🏾🥃🔥🔥🔥🔥

Superb breakfast place with a long list of options to meet your meals/beverages preferences. Laid back atmosphere, cool interior, lively colors, fantastic service.

It seems to be a busy spot, which proved the point - they are the best. Key lime pie is the best i’ve tried so far and its so nice to sit outside in the middle of the road with trees surrounding you on both sides.

Having an amazing time here in the keys!

Rolling out of the Keys we happened upon this roadside gem. Fun, creative twists on breakfast items and desserts to die for. Seriously good food and the staff was delightful. A “must stop” for anyone passing through Islamorada!

I had read the reviews and through we would give it a try. Well people, I am here to tell you, you will be sadly disappointed.
I ordered a new menu items, biscuits and sausage gravy. I added and order of two eggs. My companion ordered eggs, sausages, English muffin and a pancake. We also had coffee. The waitress then set down another plate of eggs, but I had no idea way. Later I was to learn from my bill, they had added it to the bill for no reason. I did not order them.

The biscuits were like little hockey pucks, hard and crunchy with a little gravy drizzled over them. The biscuits were not just hard, they were small, if fact, the smaller I ever had. The picture does not show it true size, as the plate is fairly small. I was very hungry, but I could not eat these, they were horrible. I ate only one and gave up to save my teeth. The eggs were good.

My companions meal was nothing special, although she complained that the eggs were cold.

Now for the best part, for the privilege of this meal, I paid over $50.

I don't know where all the "great" reviews come from, but this was a huge miss. I will never go again.

Midway cafe & coffee bar is THE spot for breakfast in the keys. I had the veggie omelet, buttermilk pancakes, and veggie burrito. The service is good and they have really funny candles.

Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. It was our first time and they gave great suggestions on what to get and how to order. We loved sitting outside under the trees. Great place.

Amazing!! Sooo fast is incredible mached with great food! All cake out in less than 3 minutes despite the place being packed. Delicious really really really good!
