Midway Cafe & Coffee Bar

Our typical stop at Midway is for coffee and a muffin, so this was my first breakfast experience here. Total yum on the egg and cheese sandwich served on a fresh croissant, washed down with a Chai Latte which was not too sweet. I've had the coffee and muffins which they are known for. The muffins alone are great to go or stay and eat one in the restaurant and enjoy it grilled or toasted with a slather of butter.

My husband is the original owner and creator of the Midway so he dressed to blend in. Check the pic.

Great breakfast place!!! Got the avocado toast, egg and brie sandwich, and the Swiss scramble. Their key lime pie was great too! Midway cafe is a really cheerful spot with indoor as well as outdoor seating.

Had a really fine and fresh fried egg sandwich on a croissant. Coffee is excellent and unlimited and the staff friendly. My wife had a delicious Mediterranean omelet. After you order at the counter the service is pretty fast.

Great spot on our drive! Delicious fresh fruit smoothies, coffee, and a key lime muffin. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful! I would go back

Food was delicious
I went once before and it was pouring rain so it was nice to not have rain. We also got to see a huge iguana while eating no lt 2 feet from us which was awesome

Food and service were great though think 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 smoothie and 1 coffee for $41 plus tip is an expensive breakfast. No wait when we were there this year. Nice place for a meal when in the Keys.

Great coffee. Great breakfast. Great service. Everyone was super friendly and the key lime pie was insanely good. Perfect breakfast spot in the Keys. Make the trip.

Loved this place! It was right down the street from the hotel we were staying at and ate there twice during our stay. I really appreciated the vegan options and everything was delicious.

Either Rude or Racist people there.
My husband went to pick up the online order 4 minutes ahead of schedule, and after confirming my name with the order, they let my husband wait outside. After 20 minutes my husband finally went in and asked them about the order, but they told him they didn’t receive the order! How could you confirm the name without receiving the order? Very rude to let my husband waiting outside for 20 minutes and didn’t even say sorry for missing the order. Instead, they asked, “Do you want your order or not.” I do not recommend this place to anyone else.

Absolutely wonderful, funky breakfast/lunch place midway between Miami & Key West. Excellent food with outdoor seating. Order food at counter & it is delivered quickly. DO check out this place for breakfast or lunch on your way to or from Key West. It will not disappoint.
