I've had better coffee at gas stations. If you're in the mood to pay double the price for subpar coffee, Volta is your place. They are also extremely unaccommodating, with limited options for milk, additions, and ability to ice their coffee. If you're going to put your coffee shop in the hipster/artisanional section of Gainesville, TRY HARDER

Solid espresso drinks - right chocolate and berry notes for me. Consistency of the milk is almost always perfect. The latte art sometimes is not (depends on the Barista). I would prefer a minimum level of Barista training for everyone pouring the espresso but then it's Gainesville. Overall, my best coffee experience in Gainesville so far.

These guys LOVE coffee, and it shows. They care a lot about what they serve the customer. Also, their quiche is sublime. Try the cascara, but don't drink too much because I want most of it for myself.

I used to visit often when I lived downtown, they were always over priced but at least had okay coffee.
We were asked to "buy something" a few minutes after we sat. It wasn't a busy time either, the store was half empty!

Sunlit comfy space with great vibes and drinking chocolate! I tried the Dan Gong oolong tea and not only did they allow me to keep my leaves and resteep (value) but it was the best tea I've had. Can't wait to come back through!

The employees attitudes are a total turn off. There are plenty of other coffee shops in town that won't make you feel like a total moron because you wanted a decaf americano and they don't (unbeknownst to me) have decaf espresso.

If I could give them a lower rating I would. Conveniently located between an abandoned business and a police station in a city parking garage, this establishment serves mediocre coffee at exorbinant prices. To order you must select from a menu board that looks more like marjong or a hong kong stock exchange ticker. The staff is rude, and the wifi is constantly crashing. These people should not be in business. If you want to see how a real coffee shop is run check out the one in the Sun Center.

I always order an Americano or a hot chocolate here and love every last sip. This isn't a place where you would want a grab and go coffee because it is expensive, but that's because this coffee shop serves a very high quality product.

Great baristas and coffee (single origin if into that). Also good selection of tea and chocolate. Good place to study. Would like it better if seats had cushions tho

The regular coffee is a little over priced as it's not more than 2 or 3 dollars anywhere else but it tasted good. I also liked the ice mocha.
