Soho Tea & Coffee

This is the only coffee place I like to go to regularly in DC. You can always find a seat (though they're usually busy, especially at night, the place is just big with a lot of seats). Wifi is solid if you need to work and they're open late, usually until 1 or 2am. Lots of good food options, coffee is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best place to go if you're sick of sitting in crowded stuffy loud coffee shops with no seats.

As with the other comments, the owner is a delight and the drinks, as well! My husband and I had a chai tea latte and an earl grey, and would recommend either for future patrons. The vibe is casual and as such is a great place to work in the afternoon. I'll definitely be back!

Rude owner. We spent $19 for a sandwich sandwich and coffee and worked for a few hours, but got a rude “we close in an hour” response from the owner when I asked for a cup of tap water. It’s not like the place was packed, either. He gave us multiple stares until we left. I’m giving two stars because the staff member before him was friendly.

Today had dinner here with my friend. We both got soup with chicken and ham melt. Both the melt and the soup were so delicious, we ordered another one to take home. Very friendly and attentive staff

Had a great coffee and experience here until someone came and kicked us out because we hadn’t bought enough apparently to justify our laptops out, even though there were 3-4 tables open and most of the restaurant did not have food or drinks in front of them. “It’s not you it’s the laptops” he said. Safe to say I won’t be back

So far so good... I've only been for coffee with my wife, but both drinks were executed well (a latte and a cappuccino) and were pretty to look at as well! Friendly service and an extensive menu.. would definitely come again!

This is place is unique and extraordinary in its own way! It has great and options to choose from. The hot beverages and the desserts are my favorite, and it’s a great place to enjoy your time and relax with some food!

Super sweet owner. Great coffee. Tons of room to work on a laptop. Indoor and outdoor seating. And amazing corner windows for tone of natural lighting.

I've been here many times for the past few years and this place is always great. clean and friendly staff... good dessert options to go with your coffee, they deserve a 5 star rating.

Very good. If you are visiting from NY you will feel right at home. Clean, simple & chic. Price is right, menu is only what you need no fluff. Oh yeah green book friendly😌😁😂
