Soho Tea & Coffee

Great coffee shop with delicious scones.

Glad to find this cozy local cafe. They have huge selection of loose tea and the best coffee I had in DC. Not to mention about the pastries. Try their vegan banana bread!

The staff here is very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and easy going! Love that they’re open late and have drinks/boardgames.

Had the lemon poppyseed scone and it surprised me just how good it was! Already planning another trip to get it again. ❤️

We had a great breakfast here and nice coffee too. Also looked like a great selection of cakes, but we were too full to indulge... We'll have to go back. Friendly service too.

This is by far the best Cafe in all of DC and my favorite place to spend an afternoon playing games, catching up with friends and enjoying the delicious selections of teas and treats. Soho is the epitome of local were every time I walk in, I am treated like family and not just another customer. The owners and staff are what makes the experience at so Soho truly enjoyable and is the primary reason I keep going back.

The servers and staff are so nice every time I go there. There's a good selection of food, especially the breakfast food. It gets really busy on weekends, but there are a lot of outlets if you plan on studying and it usually clears up enough to get a good table. There's also free wifi, although the wifi is not great. The food is always good, so is the coffee, and the menu/owner is accommodating to vegetarians!

They caught my attention with the sign outside advertising pastries but I was completely underwhelmed at the selection - all was wrapped in plastic and looked less than fresh and unappealing. My daughter's smoothie was gooey, yucky and made from terrible sirup - nothing fresh about it. Saw other people having sandwiches which looked fresh, and the service was friendly; but why not go the extra mile when serving food in the District where there's so many good options to choose from? What a disappointment

Nice selection of loose leaf teas and a very friendly staff made this an excellent place to relax with a hot drink. The owner was gregarious and ebullient, impossible to dislike. The artwork is charming and perfect for the setting.

I consider Soho a home away from home. I've been going for years and since the new ownership took over it is a top notch cafe.

The food is amazing and excellently priced - my favorite place to grab a soup and sandwich with a side of tea! Very nice tea selection and they make a beautiful cappucino.

I make sure I take any of my friends here when they want to have a comfortable place to grab a small beat and a hot drink. Thank you for being my Dupont staple, Soho!

Soho has become one of my favorite places to study. The staff is a perfect balance of funny and friendly. It's also great that the hours actually work for a student schedule (no closing at 6/7pm). I can't recommend any of the coffees (don't drink coffee) but the teas, smoothies, sandwiches and soups I have tried have all been excellent. The daily special is always a steal (near over $10 and extremely filling).
