You should definitely try this place!
Came to check out the pour overs. Only after I got my drink did I see someone with a real mug. I was a little disappointed that I hadn’t thought to ask for one because doing coffee tasting out of a paper cup isn’t the best. The cashier didn’t seem real knowledgeable about coffee, but was friendly.
Those things aside, the Virunga was amazing!! Fresh, bright, and notes of honey. I would definitely buy these whole beans.
I am looking forward to going back and trying some of the coffees from the other regions.
Definitely better than Starbucks, solid place for decent, well-made coffee drinks.

Super cute & cozy lil cafe that’s comfier + less crowded than any of the better known cafes nearby. Delicious coffee, laid back vibe, and lots of nice seating and desk options perfect for getting work done or meeting friends. Plus a cool way to learn more about Rwanda!

A little hidden gem. Quietly to work with headphones. Good coffee.

Love the coffee here and no its not spiked coffee. Bourbon is actually a plant's name from where coffee is sourced!
The coffee is deep and bold, the milk consistent and frothy.
The venue is beautiful! With a clear Kenyan theme. Spacious too.

Great food, service, coffee, and ambiance - my new regular spot!

Cozy and comfortable coffee shop with plenty of indoor seating during the workweek. According to the sign on their window they're currently open Mon-Fri until 4 PM and they modify their hours on holiday weekends, so keep an eye out for that - or just ask if you're not sure.

I was in the city for a meeting at 3:00 pm and looked for a place to spend sometime and do some work. The closing time on Google maps showed 5:00pm. I walked up to the counter at 1:10pm and bought a $6 beverage and sat down to do some work, there were about 5 other people in the cafe. My understanding is that they saw that nobody else is going to step their foot in for the rest of the day and decided to close shop. I was on a zoom call by 1:45 when the barista told me that they are closing and I ll have to go. Since you know you are going to be closing early, you should tell people when they are buying something. Or simply change your hours on Google… I had to drop my zoom call and walk in the cold to find another place and spend another $6.

We ordered two espresso, we were waiting and waiting but the guy took his time chatting with others and serve drinks to people went in after us. When we told him we are in a rush he said “I will just take the order here” (from another guy went in after us). We asked for a refund and got it.

Pretty solid coffee; service can be improved (the barista was not very friendly)

I am visiting from the south and came across this location thanks to a friend/google recommendation. Very aesthetically pleasing spot! The service was super friendly and quick, and my panini and coffee were made perfectly! Really a cozy atmosphere.
