River Rock Cafe

Brought my son to the River Rock for lunch yesterday during a full day of fishing.
Our waiter, Neal, is AMAZING. Best waiter I've had in, maybe, my life. (I'm 49, so I've had a few different waiters over the years.)
Food was very good, prices reasonable. Staff and service OUTSTANDING.
My son was still talking about Neal when we got home 9 hours later. He told me, at one point during our meal, "We need to come here more often, Dad."
We only live a couple hours away, so we probably will come more often.

Keep up the good work River Rock and Neal.

Had an excellent ribeye steak dinner tonight. Wonderful flavor, tender with a good char on the outside, pink on the inside. Just how I like it! Servers great and friendly. Enjoyable meal!

I love this Cafe. The food is great and the people are friendly.

As the waitress asked for our drink orders and was asked for lemon wedges for our waters she was a bit snippy and said they were out. When she came to take our food order she completely skipped mine and seemed upset when I tried to give my order. Everyone's food order was correct except my steak. I asked for medium well and I got mid rare. I then asked the waitress to have my steak cooked longer to what I had asked for.The steak was cooked a bit longer and was fine. We asked about the ice cream store right down the street about their closing time. Her response was shocking. She said the owner doesn't particularly care for "out of towners"!!! Being rude to people who are asking about your little town, wanting to support it financially it would have been best to just say what the closing time was. All.of this to say we will not be back there and do not intend on going to the ice cream shop either!!

This place is incredible. Totally unexpected, extremely clean and beautiful historic building. The food is incredible, nice list of drinks and beers on top. I’ve found most places don’t actually know how to cook a burger and fries. This place does. Excellent mid rare burger and nice crispy fries! Not greasy at all.

Most delicious Reuben sandwich. Great setting and atmosphere. I would suggest that the menu have more description of the dishes.

Oh my goodness. Stopped here on a road trip and it was well worth it. Service was amazing even though it was packed and an hour to close. Steak was cooked perfectly and all the rest of the food was to die for. Sweet potato fries for the win! I loved the decor as well. Definitely need to come back!
