I have enjoyed River Rock Cafe for 10 years! Whether I dine in or grab takeout on my way further in the mountains! Just 2 days ago I grabbed a to go order - peered to make sure I had what I needed. Requested a bit more lettuce and voila! Came quickly - with a smile. The menu has my personal fav - sweet potato wedges! Great customer service, dependable food, and variety.

It's certainly an unusual time for a full service restaurant to provide great service and food but the River Rock Cafe was wonderful..
Of course the menu was a shortened version but had a good assortment of choices. The service was very good and the food was excellent.Some may argue that prices are a little high but no more expensive than let's say Denver.
I had a salad with beef steak strips on top, it was excellent. The best part is that everything was very fresh! The salad had red, green peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, carrots, cheese, mushrooms, no iceberg lettuce, a lettuce mixed blend, real blue cheese dressing, and I'm sure there were other ingredients that I forgot. The sliced steak on top was A+ and cooked to perfection. Certainly, there main chef was there as I rate the salad and cost a 10!
Next time I am in Walden I will certainly go back.
