River Rock Cafe

This little gem is tucked away inside this small town. It is a gorgeous restaurant with amazing food. Steaks were cooked to order and delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping in and trying this place out for yourself.

Fresh meat , 5 stars service and cute atmosphere. Mallory was very sweet with us and recommended the most popular items in the menu , she made our experience even better . The 🍔 are from another planet , juicy and taste like homemade burgers . If you go there ask for Mallory and get the best service !!

Very charming place, the decor was awesome, I felt like I was in an expensive log cabin. I had the prime rib breakfast special, medium rare, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Staff was friendly and the place was spotless. If I'm ever in the area again, I will make it point to stop in and eat.

Quick stop for a meal and the staff were hustling to accommodate lots of travelers. Food was average, hospitality plentiful, and atmosphere spot on for this part of Colorado. Would recommend for folks making a pit stop or in the area.

This is my first time staying in Walden and it's been pretty great! I tried the Blackened Swai (which I had never even heard of) and it truly is my new favorite fish. The way they prepared it was not only tasty, it was juicy and perfectly cooked. It was served with fresh green beans cooked with bacon,yum!! Our table also enjoyed the chicken fried steak, sweet potato fries, onion rings, mashed potatoes with white gravy, and the grilled chicken salad. It was all delicious and nobody left hungry. They also make a pretty great Bloody Mary. The staff are friendly and attentive. We will return for sure!

We were seated on a Saturday morning at 10:30 right away. Our server Daniela was fast and efficient. She accommodated every request. The food was excellent. Wife had a pancake. I had the North park. A sausage patty smothered with 3 eggs, hash browns, cheese, mushroom and green chili. Wow, what a tasty dish. All around a great experience.

Stopped by at about 4 PM for a quick dinner and had the beef and cheddar melt. My dinner was quick and tasty, the atmosphere was cool and the service was great.

Absolutely loved this place! OMG...you HAVE TO TRY THE CARROT CAKE! Meat is all fresh and locally sourced. Proces are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Wife even wanted a well done burger. It was super moist and full of flavor. Great jem in Walden

Will not be coming here again $85 dollars for over cooked and undercooked streak. At least the beer was cold. Probably worst steak ever have had. Stay away from here if they still have the sign bout missing workers. We still tipped well but these steaks are not worth price we paid. Get a gas station burrito vs buying a steak here.

VERY sweet waitresses and the food was really quite good. Kids had Mac and cheese and a corn dog with fries (the fries were perfect). Husband and I had Reuben and guac bacon burger. Both were very good. Only small thing was my burger was well done and not medium. We were way way too hungry to send it back but the entire meal was excellent. Stop by here for sure.
