Fantastic steak dinner! It is Choice meat but it tastes just like prime. The steak is seasoned perfectly with pepper and not too much salt. The corn is nice and buttery and the mashed potatoes are great. Also comes with a salad. Highly recommend the cherry cobbler to top it off!

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. We all enjoyed our food. The basic burger was tasty, and the fries, sweet potato wedges and onion rings were good. The steak salad was huge! we also enjoyed the bacon potato soup.

If you’re passing through the town of Walden and are looking for some breaky aka breakfast this a good stop!

The bacon 🥓 was perfect!

The pancakes 🥞 enough to carb-load.

The french toast done just right.

The atmosphere perfect but the lighting was a bit dark.

The staff super friendly.

Only feedback is that even if they had to up-charge for real maple 🍁 syrup that’d be absolutely acceptable because the fake stuff is just not the same.

Walden is a great little community and this place is a great restaurant...beautifully decorated, great friendly staff, clean and pretty good food. Got a Chipotle burger cause a ton of reviews raved over it...but I don't see why...a hamburger with just jalapeno and cheese? Wasn't sure where the Chipotle came in. The jackson burger was good...basically bacon cheeseburger and the Reuben was Fantastic...now that's what I should have ordered. We got cheese curds and the ranch had to be homemade it was so good also came with blue cheese. The menu didn't have appetizers on it but you can ask and they will gladly tell you. Sure maybe it's something to do with covid lol. Anyways overall good food and atmosphere!

Walden is a great little town to visit. A must stop through when hunting the golden leaves.

Love the atmosphere and rustic charm. Decent Ruben & chicken fried steak. Gravy was lacking but mashed potatoes were fresh. Burgers at other tables looked great. Would love to try the prime rib or steak next time. Prices are so refreshing compared to Steamboat!

Let me start this off with saying that I cannot come up with any low points in my experience, the menu is slightly limited, but there is everything you could want. Also, the menu is actually expansive given the size of the town. Many cuts and sizes of steak, waygu beef burgers, lots of local ingredients.

The atmosphere, decor, and overall cleanliness of the establishment is impeccable. I was not only overjoyed but also impressed in the overall impression of the restaurant.

The service was exceptional. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a big smile and the experience only gets better from there. The attention to detail and overall hospitality of the staff is remarkable.

Food: the most important part of the experience. Everything from the house salad to the vegetables were fresh, cooked properly, and of perfect proportions. My protein for my lunch was the 16oz ribeye. The steak was perfectly cooked at a medium rare, wonderfully seasoned, and nicely presented. The cut of beef was of good quality, much better than other steak houses at a similar price point.

I highly suggest eating here, and look forward to trying the breakfast.

EDIT: I had the pleasure of coming in for breakfast the other day. Ended up ordering the fancy French toast with a side of over easy eggs and sausage patties. The coffee is about what you would expect, not too shabby, hits the spot for me. Having your own carafe at the table is a nice touch, especially for someone like myself who drinks copious amounts of coffee. The eggs and sausage were of great quality and perfectly cooked. The French toast is on par with the best French toast I have had in my life, from a restaurant in my hometown rated as one of the top 25 brunch places in the US. Absolutely to die for. I look forward to coming back.

Here tonight and had the salad with crispy chicken it was awesome so much better thank you for changing it. Only suggestion would be less cucumbers maybe 3-4 and I personality did not eat all the larger carrots, just too much to eat and there are carrots in the salad mix.
Great job!!!!!!!
Service was Excellent
