First time trying out The shack Cafe as we are visiting Steamboat. Giving 5 stars as I highly recommend trying this cafe out. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was so delicious. Staff was extremely kind and friendly. Also Dog friendly on outside patio. They even brought our dog his own water dish. Thank you for the pleasant lunch experience.

Called in for breakfast when the place we were headed for was closed. Excellent find. Biscuit and gravy and egg benedict we're both good. Service very attentive. Prices reasonable for Steamboat Springs!
Covid-19 regulations being followed do capacity cut by about half so get there early!

Cozy and cute breakfast early enough to get us on the road home to Nebraska. Cornbeef hash & eggs were wonderful. French toast & fresh blueberries were totally delicious. Highly recommend the stop, but they do not serve supper. A chance to see downtown Steamboat Springs too!

There were 4 of us eating bfast 2 of the 4 meals had hair in them. The first meal hair was found at the beginning and it was remade, 2nd was found at the end after almost finishing, when it was pointed out to the waitress who otherwise was vry goodnshe said " well you ate it" what?! No Im sorry. When I said well its not good when 50% of the meals that come out have hair in them she finally said she wouldn't charge for it. None of the cooks were wearing hair masks and the kitchen was not clean. Waitress was good and food was ok. Don't recommend this place .
