It was fine. Wildly overpriced, definitely. We went with a large group to celebrate a milestone birthday. They are ADA accessible, so that was nice. Bean dip was not worth it, couldn’t tell that there was sausage in it - it was like a can of refried beans heated up in a bowl. Guacamole needed salt and lime. Dessert was okay - crème brûlée was cooked well, chile chocolate cake was nice, cherry pie was standard. Menu does not offer much for those who aren’t red meat eaters. I ordered the Incorrect Steak. Potatoes and veggies were good, steak was good for breakfast this morning. Views from the patio are lovely.

We went here for the first time the other day to celebrate our two year marriage anniversary. What a great atmosphere! Very classy, elegant and unique. We received excellent service, fantastic food, beautiful music; an all around great experience. Eric, a long term worker, and flutist, stopped by to welcome us and share some history, which we inquired about. We will be back!

Great location and ambiance.
Food was flavorful, but some execution needs work. (Ribs were quite dry, carrots were undercooked).
Service also needed attention. We waited almost an hour from when our appetizer came to when our main courses arrived. Our server also seemed more interested in a large private party than the normal patrons.

Everything was great. Appetizers were a little quirky. The blonde brownies were amazing. Staff was professional and very good at what they do. Have been looking for a reason to go for years and was not disappointed. Thanks for a great dinner!

What a great atmosphere and good food! I'm absolutely blown away by the bartender, Don. We didn't have a reservation and we got sat in the cantina and Don gave us the best service while making drinks for 2 separate parties (average of like 20 margaritas per order as a single bartender)!! Mind blowing the service he gave while working his tail off!!! 5 star review!!!

Excellent food, and atmosphere. I’ve only been a few times before, but this is definitely a spot worth coming back to again and again. The service is always fantastic, and the food is always very good. I highly recommend the game plate, and the bone marrow. So so good 😋

We love The Fort and go at least twice a year. Planning another holiday dinner. Not a good choice for vegans. Limited selection for vegetarians. Like meat? Like game prepared well? Then you'll love it.

Does not live up to the hype.
Don't get me wrong, it is a nice looking place with it's authentic feeling and all but what you get for the price, is not worth it.
Maybe just maybe, if you can get a table looking outside, since it has a nice view, just maybe, the price can get justified but for some reason, they do not serve dinner on that beautiful patio of theirs.
I would definitely go have appetizers and a drink on that patio, which I think they do serve, but that's where my recommendation ends.
As for the "exotic" food and drinks, well, we tried them, even the gunpowder drink one and we were not satisfied. Again, for the price you pay, you would expect better cuts, more tender and much better desserts.

Tried a lot of things here, and the quail was one of the best, surprisingly. Amaizng!
