Einstein Bros. Bagels

The quality and service has really gone down hill, your can read my previous 5 star review below, but that needed some editing. They are perpetually under staffed, and the staff they do have are inexperienced and not very good at their jobs. It's very disappointing to watch somewhere you once loved go so rapidly downhill. This morning I ordered a nitro cold brew, they gave me a cup of cream with caramel syrup. Also they refuse to answer their phone or return messages for complaints, orders, or to obtain a billing address or work performed there. I guess I'll be giving the bagels at Dunkin or Starbucks a shot because they have permanently lost my business after months of sub par service.

Yummy bagels, good coffee. I do recommend getting there before 7 during ski season because they do get very busy and have a tendency to run out of everything bagels.

Food was great and the young man at the register that took my order was very professional and kind. 7/24/22 8am.

I think it was the manager working that was super nice, friendly and knew lots about coffee. They let me sit inside and I was very happy. Plus they have caribou coffee espresso which is my favorite as I'm from MN.

A great place to stop for a quick breakfast. This was my third visit. It seems that during the week the crowds are smaller - I went recently on a Sunday - practically standing room only. Nova lox - a few too many capers for me but it will always be my favorite.

Too crowded, always a long wait. Young girls running the place kept mixing up people's names and orders. I ordered a chocolate chip bagel for my kids and there were 2 left when I placed my order. By the time my order was finally ready, not only had the girl getting the order ready forgotten to put the extra bagel in my bag, but the chocolate chip bagels were gone. She very impatiently told me to quickly choose another flavor. Coffee seems to be empty every time I try to fill a cup. Cream cheese all over the outside of the bag my order was in. It will be my last visit to this particular location.

Bagel sandwiches were good but place was filthy dirty. Tables needed wiped off and employees behind counter chatting. Floors covered with crumbs along with trash. Counter tops not wiped off they were dirty.
Womens bathroom had no paper towels and air blower did not work. Three employees standing drink frozen coffee in front of public behind the counter and even shared drinks between each other.

Get there early, there aren't any bagels left by lunch. The pizza bagel was cold in the middle and the cheese wasn't even melted on one bagel and the other was burned. My daughter's bagel was good, but they didn't have the one that she wanted.

The bagels and coffee are delicious, but make sure you have a good 30 minutes to spend here. They have one order station which sends the most simple line out the door. Perhaps having two order stations and only one pay station would lessen congestion and wait time. I ordered two bagels with shmear and I waited 10 minutes just for my bagels. Also, after paying $1.50 just for plain cream cheese, I hardly had a thin layer on my bagel. I overheard other customers commenting on this as well. This store seemed over-staffed but under-performing. I'm not sure I'll be stopping here again.

The service used to be way better, but now the past 3 times I've been for lunch my order has been messed up, or incomplete. My lunch hour is at an odd time so there's never a line when I go, so is not like there's a lot of orders they're trying to process at one time. I ordered the thintastic chicken pesto implying that the bagel be thin, and even saying make it thintastic I still got a regular bagel and one time they neglected to put on a main ingredient. That same time I had also asked for a drink and they neglected to give me a cup. Also they used to give a pickle with a sandwich and I haven't gotten one the past two times I've been. Needless to say I've given them several chances and they keep disappointing.

Eh food. OKAY bagels. Far overpriced. Staff is friendly sometimes but often times I find that they are more interested in their own conversations than helping or listening.

Another issue is the freshness of their vegetables. My tomatoes and cucumbers are usually too ripe. The cucumbers are floppy instead of crunchy, Gross. I'm sure during the busy season this is less of an issue but I will never go during the slow season due to the nasty veggies.
