SUR Restaurant & Lounge

I love this restaurant... I go at least once a week. I highly recommend you go. The experience alone is worth going for.... I give them at least a 10 star. You owe it to yourself to have the best food and the best drinks of your life.I could just go on and on about how much I love this place but you have to experience this place on your own......... ENJOY............

Our server was great, I wish I could remember his name. Very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed my mixed drink “the big pinky” is what I believe it was called.

Unfortunately I don’t have much to rave about otherwise. The food was really overpriced, not super warm or flavorful. The goat cheese balls appetizer was roughly $15 and only comes with 3 little balls.

Our table was practically touching another so there was no privacy to enjoy conversation.

It was cool seeing a few cast members from the show, and the restaurant in real life, but I expected a little more.

Went for the experience, loved it and would return again. Good atmosphere and vibes, exactly what you’d expect after watching the show. The food was above average. Was sad the crispy chicken wasn’t on the menu but the goat cheese balls live up to the hype. It’s sad that some people are leaving poor reviews because they don’t like Lisa / the show/ whatever. Sur is a fun restaurant with delicious food and prices are comparable to other restaurants/ bars in the area. This is LA after all. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. We had a reservation and were sat right away. We went early on a Thursday night and were surprised to see that Peter was working there. He was actively helping the staff set up for the night which was nice to see. We got to meet him and he was extremely nice.

We came in for brunch, as one of my friends is a fan of the show. When we first checked in, the hostess was not very friendly. She originally seated us outside and the table and chairs were both very dirty. The table was so low and not ideal for eating, so we asked if it was possible to be seated inside, since the restaurant was not too busy. The hostess seemed annoyed that we asked and said that since we booked for a table outside, we'll have to be seated outside. Another man came in to check on us at our table and we kindly asked him if it would be possible to move inside and he was very accommodating. It was a bit confusing who our server was, as we had a different person come to check on us each time. Nonetheless, all of the gentleman working here were very helpful and welcoming. The manager also checked in at one point to make sure we had everything we needed, which was much appreciated. I had the eggs benny and it was by far one of the best I've ever had! My friend got the omelette and unfortunately it was a bit bland. Overall, a good place to visit once if you are a fan of the show but certain menu items can be a hit or a miss.

The ambiance of this place is to die for!! The service was exceptional. Unfortunately the food was just okay and so were the cocktails. I'd recommend it for lunch or early bite but it wasn't so great for dinner. My friends and I were happy to have experienced SUR anyway! Check them out but lower your expectations when it comes to the food.

I didn’t know anything about this place or the show it’s from, but the people in my group were excited about it and as someone who has lived in LA for almost 20 yrs it was fun to see how some people see LA.
The atmosphere in the outside section is well done and enjoyable. In my experience it felt like it was set up to attract and impress people who like the show but really how different is that from other nice places?
They have a vegan impossible burger! I liked it though everyone else in my party said their food was just okay.

Wow great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Perfect dinner date environment. Has the salmon and Classic burger. This is the 2/3 burger i have ever had. Perfectly cooked and juicy. The fries were also amazing.

Went here with my friend who loves the show! We both were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was for the cost! Definitely get the goat cheese balls. I had the skirt steak which was amazingly grilled in a fire, had the nice char taste. The hostess was super sweet and gave us lots of recommendations too!

This is my 3rd time having a private event! Everyone is amazing! Veronica THANK YOU! you are a soooo personable and I appreciated your patience and flexibility. The system you use to communicate with guest is AMAZING and seamless! Thank you for a beautiful afternoon of brunching with my family. The 15 of us enjoyed every bite and sip! Truly a beautiful Bridal shower with the most intimate setting!

I did a fly by here when I was on my way out of town. Couldn't leave LA without visiting SUR first! The goat cheese balls were absolutely delectable. They were expensive though, for an appetizer anyway.. But it was fun as a Bravo fan to revisit! Unfortunately I didn't see anyone from the show, but I was here early so there's that. Very beautiful atmosphere.
