Café Ficelle

Good coffee, they make a mean red-eye. The French pastries are divine.

Vegetarian breakfast sammie is my automatic go-to but you cannot leave here without trying the Liege waffle and an iced butterfly matcha. Sooo good!

Staff use to be pleasant and welcoming but not now. When your order sits in the window to go out to the customer for 10 minutes you know it’s now cold! Ask someone for it and they act bothered. Food is good but pricey for sure!

Today December 23 I had an order pick up at Café ficelle was curbside pick up the girl that I was dealing with was very rude and unprofessional when she came out to bring me my Coco bombs she was shaking her head waving her hand and when she came to my window she shoved the bag through the window I greeted her with a hello she didn’t say anything to me and then walked away and rudely said thank you this is my first time buying from Café ficelle and I think it will be my last. Very disappointing.

Great bakery and great atmosphere.

Excellent pastries. The sandwiches are delicious. The egg in the Croque Madam was cooked perfectly.

1- As we walked up the breezeway to enter the main entrance, my children and I had to pass an employee smoking a cigarette. I reported that to the manager.

2- I drive down Maple every day to go to work and the owners have 1 and sometimes 2 of their trucks parked nearest the entrance. The parking there isn’t great so you would think that the owners would want to reserve those spots for their customers. The trucks are white with red Fire Service Writing on the sides. I will not stop again if I continue to have to park further than the owners.

3- The almond croissant is very delicious, but customer service has to be great for my business.

Best bread bakery in Ventura, IMO

The best croissant I have ever had. I never knew they could be this good. Almond with frosted sugar will change your life.

My first time as I ordered a drip coffee and cinnamon roll to go. Very nice, almost upscale location. Not very affordable but the food appears to be a step above ordinary.
