Social House Craft Sandwiches is a unique cafe located in South Lake Tahoe, California. The cafe offers a variety of delicious sandwiches made with fresh-baked bread, premium quality meats and cheeses, and unique vegetarian options. The cafe also has a full bar that serves refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies. The beachy atmosphere of the cafe is perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.

However, what sets Social House Craft Sandwiches apart is its hidden speakeasy. The speakeasy is located behind a cold freezer and can only be accessed by those who are on the list. The speakeasy has a total hipster vibe with live music and a visually captivating light-up bar. The staff and bartenders are friendly and love their jobs. The speakeasy has a special custom cocktail menu with about 20 options, and a $10 cover is added to your bill. It's totally worth it, underground, and apparently very difficult to get into. Filled with beautiful people and art, the speakeasy is a unique experience in the heart of South Lake Tahoe that's totally off the map, unassuming, and hidden.

Social House Craft Sandwiches is open seven days a week, with varying hours. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, the cafe is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On Thursdays, the cafe is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the cafe is open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The cafe is located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way #3, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. The cafe has a warm vibe, and local musicians often perform here. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for chilly evenings. The prices are reasonable, but some may find it a little expensive. The cafe also serves great breakfast bagels and burgers. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to grab a bite to eat or a drink with friends.

Went by here after checking into my hotel. Just got some fries and they were on point.

Didn't try the food, only the booze but hey I like me some booze and brews! Went right up to the bar and got served right away. Bartender was super nice and was informative on the different beers. She gave us some samples to try and ended up buying like 2 rounds here while we listened to live music outside. Service was great, beer was good...should come back to try the food next time!

My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary, eat a bite, and have a drink. “D” approached us outside by the fire and asked if we had seen the “Speakeasy.” We hadn’t so we checked it out. It was accessible through what appears to be a “walk-in deep freeze.” It’s nicely decorated and cozy. The drinks are not your common fare but the flavors are well-balanced and mixed well. The bartenders know what they are doing. We ordered a plate of meats and cheeses and it was good. The service was excellent as well. Great experience; I’ll return.

Social House was one of the better dining experiences we had in Tahoe!
We had the Wake Up Call bagel and the Lox, both came toasted and were delicious. I also loved my dirty chai (it wasn't too milky like it usually is) and they offered oat or almond milk! Husband had the bloody mary, which I don't usually like, but I almost got one of my own - it was deliciously spicy!

This is a great choice for a quick meal any time of day. The breakfast bagels are legit, they were running low when I went in and got the gluten free bagel. Honestly, it was fine, aside from being a little more dense then a normal bagel, I couldn't really tell the difference. Coffee is local and really good. Light but bold flavor and a good hit of caffeine.

Sweet fun loving mountain lake decor, low key music, big screens and beer, and EXCEPTIONAL service (Savannah, u da real MVP), make this place ideal for your next casual meal in South lake.

We originally came here for the speakeasy which has AMAZING drinks. They have a variety of cocktails to choose from. Just ask for "D" and you'll get in. We also stopped for food after and the fries they had were really good. I had the burger which was ok, nothing to rave about but the service was amazing. I would definitely come back

Maybe I’m used to southern hospitality but the cashier girl was quite sassy! Not very friendly at all and rolled her eyes at our questions. No changing station in the men’s restroom so my husband could change the baby’s diaper. Sandwiches were pretty good.

Best burgers in South Lake Tahoe!

Food was really good. Especially the French Dip. But they forgot some food in our order and said they would get it to use in a few min. We waited about 20min after that before leaving. Slow service but good food. Would have liked to try the rest of what I ordered.

Very cool speakeasy with incredible drinks.
