The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal, and the ambiance was cozy! Every single item that my party ordered was absolutely delicious! The omelettes, the eggs, and the chicken fried steak were all yummy! I got the black chili chicken omelette and I loved it! Or waitress was super friendly and made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed as we ate, she was a darling. The interior of the restaurant was very cozy like the interior of a cabin. Can't wait to come back the next time my party comes skiing!

Great breakfast, you will not leave hungry!
Food (4/5): Well made American breakfast, quite large portions, so be hungry when you arrive :)
Service (5/5): Super service minded woman that took care of us, gave good recommendations and came by to check up on us. She even let us know that a new person would take care of us when she when for a break or something.
Atmosphere (3/5): Mountain diner theme with robust tables.

We went there for brunch. There were 5 of us. We got there at around 9:15am on a Tuesday (7/19) and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. They take your phone number and text you when your table is ready. Food was delicious. Service was great. Portions are sizable. Recommend going there hungry so you can eat! Would totally come back again.

A nice breakfast place to stop by while you’re in Lake Tahoe. It can get crowded in the morning but we got seated very quickly. There is no reservation required. First come first serve and I do like that a lot. Our dishes were cooked perfectly too. Highly recommend the Meat lover’s omelette with added spinach. And definitely try their potato pancake for a side order!

Nice little cozy cafe. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. I had the steak and egg. My steak was flavorful. The place was clean. Our food did not take long to come out. I would come back again.

We absolutely loved this place. One of the very few places open early in the main little tourist area and to my knowledge the only one serving meals....no wait when we went in @ 0730ish. But when we left there was a line to get in. I had the daily special a chorizo burrito and it was great. HUGE but great. Very affordable and the service was too notch from the moment we walked in. Deb our waitress was AWESOME the place is lucky to have such a special young lady working for them!!!

This is a little local cafe. We have been going there for years and I feel that the quality of food has definitely gone downhill. It was our go-to place for breakfast but we want to explore more options now given their food is subpar now. We ordered eggs Benedict veggie style this time and the eggs were boiled instead of poached. Pancakes were over cooked.

Best breakfast we've had this week. The food is a generous amount. Staff is super friendly. Debra took our order & she was amazing! Made us feel very welcome & convinced me to try the chorizo burrito that did not disappoint. 10/10

What a great find! This is a small local restaurant located at the far end of Heavenly Village. First day, we arrived at 10am for breakfast and had to wait an hour to be seated. We ended up eating lunch (grilled chicken melt w/tomato soup and The Californian w/fries). Best tomato soup I've ever had.
Went back the next day for breakfast at 8am and we were sat immediately (but the line started to build from there). I had the Ugly Fries (diced potatoes with peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese) - seriously, this is something to share as it is a huge portion. My husband had the French Toast.
We did not go on a weekend - we hear the lines are really long. But the food is delicious and the servers were so friendly, well worth the wait.

Local’s recommended this diner as there #1 breakfast spot. All Ingredients were high quality and the meat lovers was stacked! Sourdough bread was fresh with just the right amount of butter. The avocado on the egg was a nice touch and delicious. Not to mention the coffee that you will not want to stop drinking after the first cup!
