Kakawa Coffee

I went in this place because google told me to.
And i am so glad i did !
Maria and her co founder were so nice to me, friendly and interesting !

Toast are crazy, and the coffee is so good !
So everyone who passes through san diego and point loma, you have to go there !

Super fun and very kicked back. coffee is well prepared and tastes great. price is quite reasonable.

So all I want is an iced drink and the lady gives me a ton of ice and I go can I get less ice and the lady explains to me just about 10000000 times why I can’t have less ice (even though any other place would of said yes) and I’m like nodding my head like I understand and the cashier says “she gets it” and then the lady goes “she doesn’t understand” but I understood since the beginning. So after she’s explained it to me very rudely I finally sat down and then when it was ready she explains AGAIN like I got it the first time. She made me feel really stupid and in the end the drink had a weird aftertaste

I LOVE this place, the cocoa they use are very high quality and the staff is super friendly, Point Loma deserves a place like that! The Mayan Mocha is my favorite.

I've been waiting for a cool cafe like this to start up in the neighborhood. The ladies who work there were super helpful and welcoming and the coffee and espresso were both good!! I'll be coming back!!

Coffee is great, and the service is just as great! Freshly ground beans to go are perfect for your espresso or drip coffee at home.

Try the kakawa latte. You won’t be disappointed!

Staff was really nice, but coffee was not good. It was a fresh batch, but somehow luke warm. Way too strong, and not a flavorful roast.

Love this place! I frequent this place almost every day. Parking is not bad and the owners are so nice. The coffee is delicious and they have kombucha on tap.
