Kakawa Coffee

Fantastic hole in a wall Cafe. Isn't crazy loud and the people here are pretty friendly. I tried their Mexican coffee and a cookie dough pastry. Was really good. They also gave suggestions for popular items people usually get here but I was feeling like having cookies for breakfast.

I came here for the first time. I am not much of a coffee drinker. So, I told them I what should I have as whenever I get coffee it is always decaf Cappuccino with whole milk. Maria the barista/hostess suggested that I try Chai Latte if I am not much of a coffee drinker but like milk based beverage. So I tried it and it was great. I also tried their decaf cappuccino and was better than any other place I have had in North Park. Highly recommended place. Only suggestion I have is that they change the music selection from club/dance music to more mellow coffee shop tunes. as coffee shop and club/dance music dont go along :) esp. for someone if they come to their coffee shop to work as I saw a couple of customers reading/studying/working.

Walking into Kakawa coffee has a very homey feeling with very friendly staff and a huge variety of coffee and pastry options. Not to mention, they also have several clothing merchandise. Worth visiting if your in Point Loma area.

Staff was extremely nice. Tried a new coffee and didn’t like it so they let me swap it for something else. Very nice. Music was great too.

Hands down best coffee you will find locally. This coffee shop has a variety of coffee beverages that will have you perked up in no time. Delicious iced mochas, my personal favorite, cold brew coffee on tap, Kombucha on tap, fresh vegan pastries, an avocado toast to die for. The atmosphere is sweet and relaxing. They also have coffee boxes to go, as well as beans for take home, grind there or take home the whole bean. Passionate coffee peeps here. I have purchased beans and sent them all over to family and had such wonderful feedback that the coffee flavor is unlike any they've had. Very smooth and offers the perfect flavor to any of your favorite coffee beverage. Excellent, excellent service and product.
