Sweetie's is a really nice hometown diner. The waitresses are really sweet, the food was delicious and we even got recommendations for places to see while we were in the Redding/Shasta area. Absolutely loved it here and looking to return on my next trip up!

A great place for smoked meats. There breakfast menu has about anything you want 😋 . Sandwiches 🥪 are very good. I've been eating there for about the past 5 years. I've never had anything I didn't like. There open for breakfast, lunch, and supper.

The servers are awesome but I’d rather go to DeJavu!

Apart from the excellent service and classic rock playing over the speaker system, the restaurant is willing to stay open a bit longer to accommodate for extra customers craving a deluxe bite of food. The food was fantastic and I'm not usually one who likes to rate 5 stars, but I did for this food joint. The food was less than average price for the quality and very fair quantity, which only made the experience even better. I consider the quality to be comparable to Clearie's, but with 10 times the choices on the menu. 5 out of 5 is my rating.

Delicious food! Went there for dinner and then breakfast the next day! I had the lemon chicken with capers with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes and the eggs Benedict. Definitely a hidden treasure of Redding’s restaurant scene. Highly recommend.

I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the staff was so friendly and my husband said it was super clean inside. The food however was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and my husband had the biscuits and gravy breakfast. He was given what appeared to be half of a biscuit, while I didn't even get the biscuit that was supposed to come with my order. Right off the bat it was very clear to see it was packaged gravy, which I don't get, sausage gravy is the easiest thing to make. Every thing lacked seasoning and flavor of any kind. Honestly a little salt and pepper goes a long way. We put off eating here for a very long time because we were unsure of it,but decided to give it a try after seeing it busy a few times.its safe to say we will continue to pass up on eating here again.

The brisket sandwich I got to go was very plain and not presented well

The waitress was very good and friendly. I ordered the biscuit and gravy with two eggs and sausage patty with coffee. My grandson ordered the same for a grand total of $29. The biscuits were not too good and I am sure the gravy was canned. The sausage was just about a half of a patty and I thought it was pretty salty. I don't believe I will return.

I cam in while waiting for my car at Les Swab and the people working were so sweet, the smoked meat was really good the steak omlet was delicious too. The portions are so big and I had some to take home. I got amazing service and I will be back!

The Seafood omelette with Hollandaise sauce is worth trying. Fluffy eggs, the right amount if cheese, veggies, and large shrimp. The Hollandaise sauce was fresh and impressive. I felt it was definitely not from a packet. Excellent portion. My friend and I split it and we're both satisfied. They charge a dollar to bring it on 2 plates.
The blackberry cobbler with large sweet biscuit/shortbread on top was fresh and fabulous. Very large portion with vanilla ice cream(also large scoop) and whipped cream on top. More than enough for 2 people. Fresh sweet berries made into a wonderful desert.
