Was packed understaffed and my denver omelet wasthe worst in redding! The hash browns were chard on outside raw inside eggs over cooked the waitress offer more potatoes but i mix my food couldnt eat buta ⅓ of it no comp not even a sorry. The wifes biscuits were not cooked right gravy gd sausage was bulk sausage and had a wierd taste. NEVER AGAIN

Onion rings? Yes. Real, homemade onion rings that were battered perfectly to keep shape, and NOT fall off. Milkshake was thick...expect from a classic diner. Also, one of the longest counters I have seen in a long time. Very cool. Huge menu, so looking forward to another lunch or supper there.

Awesome food. Pancakes are to die for. Waitress Sam is very personable and the coffee was outstanding.

Food and service are fantastic, highly recommend the California Special omelet. Would be rated 5 stars, but there seems to be a makeshift homeless encampment on their side / rear lot. Great place if you can get a parking spot out front.

I love Sweetie's! They have amazing food. Their meat is smoked and delicious. The pancakes are amazing and taste like vanilla cake and I usually don't like pancakes. Onion rings are super good!

I went here twice with my wife. The first time, we got chicken and it was still bloody inside. I didn't notice til I was most of the way through. The second time, my wife ordered a rare steak. She received a medium well steak. She sent it back and the cook sent out a steak that was almost as thin as the meat on my cheese steak sandwich and was well-done. This is not professional service. We gave them the benefit of the doubt once and we were mistreated. My wife was embarrassed and on the verge of tears. We will not be eating here again, as good as everything else was. Instead of behaving like a professional, the cook decided to spite us because his pride was wounded. Not cool.

Upon arrival we are excited does get seated because of the pandemic. While we were waiting we say a cockroach scurry across the floor. 45 minutes later still havent received our food waitress brings us a side of mashed potatoes on a dirty plate witch sat there for 5 minutes before we decided we were leaving. Not to mention there was something in my potatoes. We told the waitress we were leaving and why she still charged us 10 bucks for 4 sodas. Many health code violations. We are completely mortified. We will NEVER be back

The best deep fried mushrooms in town! Super duper kitschy. Lots of old time flavor. Also had an orange creme soda. 😋
Can't wait to try other items!

Omg... this place is awesome. This food is like what Mama used to make. The eggs are fresh eggs. Darker golden yolks. The portions are large. You'll definitely get your monies worth. Desserts are huge. I highly recommend this yummy place.
