Sweetie's Cafe & Catering

Best local diner in town. Good prices on BBQ and other smoked goods. Was only able to get a picture of the beer battered onion rings before everything else was eaten.

We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at Sweetie's today. Great food and great service. Staff is super friendly and a real home style atmosphere.

Sad to say but my breakfast yesterday was nothing to brag about.
My waitress was great but the food my omelets with hash brown horrible
When I first saw the hash browns come to my table they looked extra crunchy as I ordered but I did not realize the oil used to cook them was at least a day if not 2 days old or at least it tasted that way. Did not bother ordering anymore as I didn't want them to have to redo all the oil trays but I should have. I'm one not to complain about food that often. The omelet had onions in the salsa that was not listed on the menu and I had explicitly said I can't eat onions. Most people wouldn't care with the salsa in there but it should be listed on the menu. Bathroom we're kind of clean but supplies were missing.
Sorry to say I won't be eating there for a long time so I hope they still take my advice to heart
But Tabasco sauce which I normally eat at restaurants was a strained creamy red color not the Tabasco color you would normally get in a bottle of Tabasco so I don't know what they put in there.

I have lived in Redding for more than 30 years and I can't believe I have never eating here before! The food is incredible the service was spot on and this has to be one of the cleanest restraints in Shasta County Best bang for your buck here! Thank you Sweeties for the best night out in a long time! I will be back soon and I'm telling everyone about you guys!

The food was just absolutely delicious. I asked my server what her favorite meal was, and ordered that! I often use that technique when visiting restaurants/bistros/ FOODIE PLACES 🍛🍲🥖🫒🥙🥞, that I've never visited before, and it 98% always works out great! 😋

Anyhow, the food was great! I was happy to see how seriously this cute little boutique restaurant was adhering to all cleanliness protocols! Nice!

And our server, 🥰, she was Fabulous!!!! Never an iced tea ran dry, another side of ranch was always just a step away.... it was such great service that I felt the tip we left reflected our amazing meal and over all lovely visit ! And felt safe and cootie-free 😷😊, the entire time

I meet here frequently with my old lady neighbors. We eat dinner at 4pm. I told you they were old.
Great food, great service. I have had the Monte Cristo, french dip, chicken fried steak, chicken thighs, fish/chips, shrimp. All the meals were amazing and I take home the blackberry cobbler to eat without being embarrassed by the blue tongue or seeds in my teeth since it real.

The food was great and the waitress was fabulous, funny and very attentive.

This place was so great! We were hesitant at most of the other restaurants in Redding but Sweetys is definitely a hidden gem. Our food came out quickly and it was beautiful and delicious. I got the corned beef hash with sweet potato fries, and it was all clearly homemade. We also tried their oatmeal and biscuits, all of which were delicious. The iced tea is some of the best I’ve had, and the service was very good.

If you want amazing food and personable friendly people, head to Sweetie's. They have a wide variety of items on the menu for days you are not sure what sounds good or have a picky eater. Need to cater an event? Tiff does an excellent job & dots all the i's, crosses all the t's allowing you to focus on the event itself.
