This is my go-to spot for coffee and pastries in Mammoth. The banana bread is delicious and it is the perfect trail food to bring hiking.

Love this place. We walked in and the smell of fresh tasty coffee welcomed us. I went for the Looney Latte - a vanilla latte with dark chocolate covered coffee beans, it was delicious! The ambiance is warm and cozy and the staff is friendly and competent. A must go when you're around Mammoth Lakes!

Looney Bean is the best coffee shop in Mammoth, period. Great coffee, breakfast burritos and baked goods.

My favorite coffee shop in Mammoth lakes. Always good coffee and friendly service and open so early. Good baked goods as well. I really always like just their brewed coffee but some of their specialties I've tried are good too. Less pretentious and more cozy than the competition

Great coffee shop! People are down to earth and outgoing. I recommend having your morning coffee or tea here and meeting new people as well!!!

Came in here with a friend she got the Mexican Mocha and I ordered a regular Mocha. I guess they didn't bother cleaning out the metal cups they put the milk in or something because my Mocha had a fair amount of cinnamon in it. I didn't drink my coffee or notice the amount of cinnamon in my coffee until I was miles away otherwise I'd have asked if they could make a Mocha without the cinnamon. Pretty knarly that they didn't bother to wash out the cup between customers. I'm not a fan of cinnamon in my coffee I paid $5 for a coffee I didn't even drink and left a $3 tip. Next time I'll be sure to take a sip of my regular Mocha because it may have cinnamon in it..... gave this place two star because the customer service was good.

My wife loves their coffee. Buy a pound of coffee and receive a free to go cup of fresh brewed coffee. We always buy a couple of pounds to take home. Black Diamond brew is very good. Bake goods available. Indoor and outdoor seating.
